Textile Elizabeth and James
Mary-Kate Olsen was spotted catching a plane out at LAX a couple of weeks back. The designer wore her current favorite, the TEXTILE Elizabeth and James Johnny in Onyx, with a striped jacket and finished her look off with bags (backpack and tote) by The Row.
I am happy to see Mary-Kate in these jeans again because they fit her so well. They are the perfect length since they have a 27″ inseam and I like that she chose to wear hers more fitted than Ashley. They are also probably the easiest jeans to put on; just zip them up and snap the buttons closed. Who do you think wore it better? You can click here to purchase TEXTILE at Shopbop.
Ashley Olsen was spotted leaving her offices in New York on her birthday. The designer wore her everyday Textile Elizabeth and James Johnny Jeans in Onyx with a pair of Elizabeth and James Busan sandals from the new Resort collection and a bag from The Row.
I am happy to see Ashley switching it up a bit and pairing these jeans with sandals this time around. The way the jeans fit, I find, work with the sandals better than the loafers that she was often wearing before. It gives off this Eastern vibe that I am actually quite liking. Which do you prefer? Carey Mulligan was spotted making her rounds with some friends at the Glastonbury Festival. The actress wore a pair of Textile Elizabeth and James Debbie Jeans in Destructed Midnight with some Tory Burch loafers.
This isn’t the usual festival gear that many think of, but it is the uniform for Carey, which I do like a lot. I applaud her for not going the typical shorts and wellies route because that is not her. She kept true to herself and looks comfortable. If you like your look, why change it for the occasion when it is not necessary? Especially if you are going to an event like this when you are running around from stage to stage. I am happy to get another sighting of the Crosby jeans. These are still one of my favorite pairs from Textile because they made the carpenter pants cool again by slimming the fit and adding the ankle zipper. I do wish that Kendall did wear these with ankle boots instead of the sneakers. I find the shoes to cut her off strangely. What do you think? You can click here to purchase these jeans from Saks for $128.62.
