Textile Elizabeth and James
New Style by Textile Elizabeth and James
Here is a look at a new style by Textile Elizabeth and James. These are the Gloria jeans. They are a high-rise wide-leg trouser jean with lace-up detailing at the fly area. I actually do like this style. When I saw them I thought they were great. The wash is just amazing on this particular pair, but it will also look amazing in various washes like a faded black, cream, or light blue. You can click here to purchase these jeans at ShopBop for $245.
Cindy Crawford in Textile Elizabeth and James
Cindy Crawford was caught out and about in Malibu with daughter Kaia. She wore a pair of the Textile Elizabeth and James Jimi Jeans in Mystic. I love the way these jeans fit Cindy. The length just ends at the right spot for the shoes she chose.
I also cannot get enough of this wash. I have them in the Debbie fit and it is just great. They are just one of the best blue jeans that I have. I also like that they have a little distressed mark and fading. They are clean yet the detail gives them more life then just a simple dark wash. Click here to purchase these jeans at BlueHeavenBoutique for $224.
Ashley Olsen in Textile Elizabeth and James
Ashley Olsen was spotted getting to her ride outside her apartment in Manhattan, New York. She wore a pair of the Textile Elizabeth and James Crosby jeans in Honey with some red Chanel sandals and an oversized grey tee. I have loved these jeans since I saw Mary-Kate in them. I’m so happy to see Ashley not just wearing these, but also wearing some Textile skinny jeans.
I find the carpenter style of these to be so cool. I just love every single detail in them. The knee padding, the hammer loop, and the zippers are just all great without overpowering each other. It is just an amazing fresh, modern take on the carpenter pant. You can click here to purchase these jeans at BergdorfGoodman for $210.
Textile Elizabeth and James Summer 2011 Campaign
Here is a look at the first ever Textile Elizabeth and James campaign. The vibe of the shoot was inspired by a journey to Joshua Tree, California in 1969. It channels the ’60s rock muses with a mix of Americana. The campaign itself will be featured in the August and September issues of InStyle Magazine.
The clothes featured are the Bianca shirt, the Jimi Flares, the Wilshire and Venice tees, as well as the Castaway striped top. The styling is great. I think its depiction of the backpacker in the desert is perfect. What do you readers think of the campaign? You can see more images of the campaign below.
