The two and half year old denim brand, SOLD Design Lab, which is based in California, just released their Spring 2013 Look Book. SOLD announced that they were the very first brand to release the super stretch denim and they believe that where comfort goes, style follows. That’s something I can definitely agree with as everyone loves comfort!

For their Spring 2013 collection they have really branched out and are now offering many styles like tuxedo stripes, embroidery, distressing, paint splattering, novelty washes, embellishments, abstract prints and more! There really is something for everyone among their new line. You can see a select few images of their key styles in the gallery below. What do you think?

So this is my debut review!  SOLD Design lab offered these to me for a review and I thought to myself that I might as well start doing reviews and hopefully you like this review.  I am normally a trouser jean type of person because I have large thighs and many jeans give me leg sausage.  They originally were going to send me a pair of their new trousers, but I got these pull on skinnys instead.  These skinnys are from their Spring and Summer Look book and they are called Spring Street Skinny in IRS.

The fit of these pull on skinnys is exactly what you would expect from pull on jeans, they are basically like a jegging and super stretchy.  They have no zipper just a button closure at the top, pretty much like the same jeans that Lorna reviewed from them here.  I’ve had J Brand 901 leggings on Sable and these aren’t quite as stretchy or as soft as those, but I like that about them, they have more of a “jean” type of feeling to them rather than soft pajamas.  I wore these on Thanksgiving and they were great because after a HUGE supper I still felt comfortable in them.  In fact, I even wore them two days later again, which is rare for me to wear a pair of jeans twice in a week.

The wash is a plain dark blue, which I prefer for skinnys.  The darker color looks better on my thighs and the clean wash gives them a dressier look.  I was unsure about the back pockets at first because smaller pockets make my behind look even larger.  They are placed very well though and I think that helps to even it out a bit.  The inseam was nice because they were long enough to stack a little bit if I wanted to wear heels instead of boots, but the material is thin enough so that if you cuffed them and tucked them into boots the extra material would not bother you.  They fit SO well under boots too, that is probably one of the main reasons I love to wear them, they are skin tight and boots slide on very smoothly over them.

I’m 5’7″ and normally wear a 31/32 in jeans and I got these in size Large.  I’d have to say for skinnys they definitely have me SOLD!  You can buy SOLD Design Lab jeans here from Singer22 and here from Revolve.

This is part II of the SOLD Design Lab’s Spring 2011 Look Book and this is the part that has all the shorts and capris in it!  I also lumped the cargos into this post as well.  They have some really great washes and cute cargos to choose from coming up shortly!  It’s funny, I can’t even imagine wearing shorts yet, our winter hasn’t even came yet.  But it’s great to have a quick sneak peak at what is in store for us from SOLD Design Lab!

SOLD Design Lab has rolled out its Spring 2011 Look book and I have attached the images of the longer jeans here and will do another post for the shorts/capris.  They have some really great skinnies with super long zippers which I love and also wide leg trouser jeans that have wide hems.

My personal opinion is that if you have a trouser jean you should have the wide hem as that is what makes them more “trouser” looking, besides the fact that I love a wide hem on jeans.  They also have waxed black skinnies which are very in style right now!  SOLD has some great prices too and some are even under $100!  You can read Lorna’s review of a pair of their pull on skinny jeans here.

I’m really excited to share with you the brand new SOLD Design Lab fall/holiday Look Book with you. They are using a new denim technology to make the best fitting jeans they can make! Their pull on jeans that have no zipper have 33% stretch in them to fit any body type. The best part is, I can now give you a rough price! They retail at under $100! How amazing is that? I thought they would cost a lot more! They are also doing regular jeans, leathers, cords, and more in this new collection.

This weeks review is on the brand new brand SOLD Design Lab Jeans. I have done a couple of posts on the brand already and I wanted to share a review on a pair of their jeans with you.

I think these acid washed pull on skinny jeggings are so cute! They don’t have a zipper, they just use a button so you pull them on and I love that! It’s not difficult either because they are so stretchy! They feel just like cotton leggings or a spandex style fabric, they really are that flexible. They are very easy to move in and I love wearing them! I’m also a big fan of the acid wash trend and this new brand havs this grey version of it done perfectly! I love it, I think it’s very pretty.

I want to talk about the fit as well because most super stretchy denim leggings, the styles that are just like real leggings, very paper thin and like spandex (excluding 7 For All Mankind) are just that, super stretchy and they don’t focus on the fit properly. These SOLD Design Lab jeggings have gone that extra mile in making the fit as good as they can make it. The pocket placement is very good, it sits in the right place on the butt and the pockets are the right shape, they are not too big or too small, they are very flattering. They also have a low to medium rise which is perfect and the fit is super skinny all the way to the ankle. Some leggings you get are a little baggy in the calves or they don’t fit well in the leg area but these do.

Overall Opinion
I can honestly say I am very impressed with this new brand. I can’t wait to try more of the jeggings and I am very impressed with the fit and the comfort of these jeans. I think this is going to be a brand to watch! I will keep you updated on where they will be available to buy.

Here is the brand new Fall 2010 Look Book from the new brand SOLD Design Lab. I am loving their jeans! They don’t use a zipper so all they use is a button, you just pull the jeans on. They are so stretchy so it’s really easy to do. I can’t wait for more of their styles to come out!
