Kate Moss came out to support friend David Bailey at his charity auction in London. The supermodel wore a pair of Siwy Hannah jeans in It’s Magic with a Saint Laurent jacket and Alaia boots.

When I first found out about this little partnership, I was more than excited! Wildfox and Siwy are two of my favourite brands and I just knew that the denim was going to be amazing! Michelle Siwy, founder and designer of Siwy, has joined up with Wildfox full time to create a diverse range of women’s jeans for the brand! This was actually first made public during its debut at the Wildfox Fall 2013 presentation during New York Fashion Week, followed by the Project and Coterie trade shows in Las Vegas.

The collection reflects an equal balance of inspirational roots drawn from both Michelle’s native New York and the Los Angeles, CA brand. As she explains, “I want to produce beautiful pieces that not only reflect fashion but that are also effortless and comfortable to wear. I craft to work with a woman’s curves, not against them to provide the most flattering and feminine fits.” To which Wildfox CEO Sommers acknowledges, “I have always admired Michelle’s dedication to the design process; from developing wash techniques to achieving the perfect fit. Without question, I looked to her immediately when it became time to launch our bottoms program.”

The resulting partnership features ranges of blue jeans, signature grays, and blacks to balance the candy apple red, pink, and hologram coated fashion pieces. Staple items Michelle recommends the Wildfox customer try are the high rise flare with a 22” leg opening and 9-3/4” rise, a classic skinny with a 30” inseam and 8.5” rise, and a high waist sequin maxi skirt which shapes to the hips and gradually flares out at the end. She adds, “Our theme for Fall/ Winter 2013 is based on The Great Gatsby. I kept in mind the opulence of that time by utilizing our color palette in unique ways that would enhance the beauty of the denim with rich washes and appliqués.”

The collection will hit retail stores along with the brand’s core groups of ultra-soft t shirts, sweatshirts, dresses, and premium White Label group of sweaters knits, chiffons, and laces worldwide in July. Ashley Tisdale got snapped leaving a business meeting in Los Angeles, California yesterday while dressed in a very summery outfit.

I’m excited to be able to review something for the warmer weather! Some denim shorts! I got sent these by the wonderful Siwy for reviewing and luckily enough they arrived when we were having a heat wave over here so I got to wear them a few times! Unfortunately now we are back to rain and colder weather so they have been put back away, much to my disappointment.

These are the Siwy Denim Camilla denim shorts in Mixed Signals and I am sort of obsessed with them because the dip dye/ombre trend is something that I adore! I’m so glad the trend is in full swing because I have always been a fan of it, it’s such a fun take on regular denim and I love seeing more than one colour together, so it just works. The light blue shade of these is really bright, almost neon, but it’s not, it’s just a really intense shade of aqua which transitions upwards into a darker more medium blue denim. It graduates quite subtly when you look closely, but from further away you can see they are 2 colours and you don’t see the transitioning as well.

The Camilla fit, if you haven’t tried it, is my favourite short from Siwy, ever. They are so comfortable and soft and they are just so easy to wear. You can just chuck them on and go out the door and feel perfectly good in them. I always find that about Siwy jeans, they have such an ease to them, it makes styling an outfit quite simple. I took a 27 in these, which is my usual size, but I could definitely size down to a 26. I generally don’t like my shorts really tight though because when it’s hot enough to wear them, I don’t like to feel too restricted. It’s not comfortable otherwise.

It does seem like each time I get a pair of Siwy shorts, I love them more than the last pair. I started out with the Lilt wash which I loved, then Love Song which I adored even more and now the Mixed Signal wash which is now my favourite. One thing I have always found a bit strange with the Camilla short though is that one leg opening is very frayed and the other isn’t so much. I know it’s intentionally like that as it’s on every pair I have. For my personal preference though I would prefer them to be heavily distressed equally. I may need to take that matter into my own hands for the other leg opening and make it more frayed myself.

Even though these shorts are ombre, I think they are incredibly easy to wear. You could pretty much pair these with any colour and get away with it and they will work with so many different pieces of clothing! I chose neon pink as I think it sets the colours apart quite nicely! I think it’s quite bad actually how obsessed I have become with these, I keep staring at the photo below to see how pretty the wash is, ha ha! What do you think of them? Ashley Tisdale was seen making her way to grab some coffee from Urth Cafe in Los Angeles, California yesterday. It’s actually been quite a while since I blogged about Ashley! I miss her denim style. She seems to have been favouring work out clothes instead of denim lately.

Ashley did go all out for this denim outfit though by wearing double denim! She chose her Siwy Hannah ankle crop jeans in Snowstorm with a Current/Elliott denim shirt. I’m not really sure about the boots with the outfit, but overall I love the combination of blue and white. White jeans are going to start getting more popular lately since it’s almost Summer! Selma Blair loves Siwy! She’s been spotted out in the brand on the blog before, but was seen wearing them two more times recently.

First, she wore her Rose jeans in Nymph wash with a flowy white top and a pair of nude flats while getting gas. Next she was spotted out wearing a lighter, distressed pair with a navy sweater and loafers. Selma definitely has a pretty classic/preppy style, but I’d love to see her in a patterned pair of Siwy’s. We really don’t get many sightings of Ashley Tisdale in denim anymore, so I am glad we at least got this one! She was seen leaving Barney’s New York in Los Angeles, California after doing some shopping.

Berry coloured denim has been my favourite ‘coloured denim’ shade for a really long time now. I just love the variety of purples, pinks and deep reds that berry can come in and so many brands are releasing their take on the colour. Berry is actually my favourite shade for Fall/Winter, it’s so versatile and I also own it in lots of clothes like shoes, tops, a dress and a coat. It’s perfect! Kate Moss changed out of her white leather Marant trousers for some denim as she was caught leaving her hotel in Paris to catch a flight out. She chose her Siwy Hannah jeans in It’s Magic. I actually like that Kate went for a slouchier route with her jeans here. Usually I prefer her in a skin-tight fit.

Maybe Kate was trying to go with the vibe of the Balmain Fall 2011 show. The pants of that collection were kept slouchy and she is wearing one of the amazing suede tanks from the collection. I just love the way that it’s cut and how it flows. I also love that she paired it with her favorite blazer and layered another tank under it.
