Chris Pine did some Christmas Eve shopping for himself when he stopped by the Ralph Lauren store. He ended up leaving with a pair of jeans for himself and didn’t even need a bag!
With several major designers now in their seventies – Karl Lagerfeld (Chanel/Fendi) is 76, Ralph Lauren is 70, Oscar de la Renta is 77, and Giorgio Armani is 75 and also plagued with ill-health – the speculation about when they might be hanging up and handing over their tape measures is never-ending. I can’t help but wonder how this will change the face of fashion as new designers come in to take their place? Even though they are not your typical denim designers, the full fashion designers do indirectly influence denim design. The older designers still having talent and drive is obviously no issue, but I look forward to seeing how the fashion landscape may change with these designers’ possible retirements. How do you think it will change the world of fashion?

Here are all the various outfits we have blogged Blake Lively in and please vote for your favorite! We mean your favorite by her head to toe outfit, not just her jeans! What do you think she looks best in? (Note: if you like these blogs, they are published on Mondays, so you can keep your eye out for them!)
If you hover your mouse over the pictures they each have a number assigned to them for the poll.
Are overalls the new spring/summer trend? These are a far cry from the Gap overall days! They seemed like a continuation from the romper trend, more nipped and couture-like. Collections like Ralph Lauren and Jean Paul Gaultier feature them. Overalls perpetually remind me of what I wore as a child or a farmer, a far cry from trendy and chic. Is there any way to wear them without looking frumpy? Overalls… yeah or nay?
