Singer M.I.A. arrives at Nylon Magazine’s Music Issue party hosted by M.I.A held at SkyBar in the Mondrian Hotel Los Angeles wearing some serious double denim! Her shirt is by Ralph Lauren but can anyone ID her very interesting jeans? I know I have seen them before but I just can’t seem to find them online.

Denim Overalls… It used to be the clothing for just farmers… But not anymore! Starting off the trend on the runways was Ralph Lauren and Jean Paul Gaultier with his collaboration with Levi’s. Following behind a couple of seasons after many denim brands such as Citizens of Humanity and G-Star have come out with their versions. The key to wearing overalls is to keep it relaxed. Choose lighter washes and flat shoes. Also choose a flattering fit, more fitted rather than second-skin or baggy.

Denim designer handbags have been a trend for a while. Celebs such as Jessica Biel were seen carrying a denim Prada purse. This trend looks like it is still going strong, and just in time for spring too!

Back home on the west coast, Tom Cruise was spotted out for a ride on his Ducati motorcycle in Beverly Hills. Decked out in his biker gear and Ralph Lauren Jeans, the “Top Gun” stud looked to be enjoying the blissful ride. Dang I wish I could ride my motorcycle in the middle of winter!
