Rag & Bone jeans
The denim shirt has definitely been reinvented for the summer. No longer are they just the classic button front shirts that give off a western vibe. The new take on the textile for tops has been streamlined into a piece that will give the classic double denim look a new vibe that is unexpected from before.
One label that took that idea a step further is Rag & Bone. Instead of just doing the classic light blue wash that is common this season, they stepped it up with by giving the chambray the ombre treatment. The piece feels fresh and will just take your look to a fun, flirty vibe that denim doesn’t usually take. What are your thoughts on this piece and how would you style it? Though it is 4th of July weekend, I didn’t want to do a look for say a pool party, but one for a nighttime bbq. The High Rise in Black Rebel is one of my favorite styles that Rag & Bone has come out with recently. They have just the right amount of distressing for a casual look for men and they will look better as you wear them out more and more, which is why I chose them to style this week.
For the overall look, this is something that I would wear and have worn. I paired the jeans with a longline t shirt from TOPMAN because there is this edge that it adds to looks that I find very unique at the moment. To layer over and add more casualness, a sweater by AMI. I chose green just to add subtle contrast to the overall monochrome look. Then to finish the outfit off, a hat by Stussy and a pair of the new Yeezy 350 Boosts. The updated moccasin vibe mixed with the concept of a running shoe gives this this look a vibe that they can only do.
Rag & Bone has always made some of my favorite flares. Just like their skinny jeans, they are a cut that they just got right and are flattering on every body type. I hope to see more people in them as sightings for flares are starting to pick up. How many of you love the flares by Rag & Bone? You can click here to purchase Rag & Bone from SHOPBOP.
Gwen Stefani was spotted after getting her nails done in West Hollywood, California. The singer pulled out her trusty Rag & Bone RBW23 Zip Leggings in Seal to pair with her favorite Adidas and a turtleneck sweater. She then beat the cold by layering a bomber jacket over her sweater.
We haven’t seen Gwen in these jeans in a while now. They have always been one of my favorite styles to see on her because I always thought they fit her amazingly and loved the way she would style them, especially when she paired them with her Doc Martens. I am hoping to see that pairing again soon. You can click here to purchase Rag & Bone from SHOPBOP.
