Victoria Beckham was spotted at The Shoppes at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore for an event for her RTW collection. The designer kept to her current aesthetic of pairing distressed jeans with cleaners pieces. She chose a pair of R13 Skinny jeans in Black Marble with Rip and a tank and jacket from her line, then a pair of suede pumps to finish it off.
I have been trying to figure out these jeans since way back when Victoria started wearing them in February during fashion week. She did an alteration to them, which was adding a patch under the tear of the left knee, that was throwing me off. With her finally styling them with a tucked shirt, the R13 details on the waist are front and center to give it away. These are an older style, but you can click here to purchase R13 from SHOPBOP.
Amanda Seyfried toted her dog Flynn along for a flight out from New York and later arrived to Los Angeles over the weekend. The actress wore a pair of Paper Denim & Cloth Mod Classic Skinny Jeans in Paper Dark Wash with an R13 plaid bomber jacket and her favorite lace up boots.
Amanda usually keeps things casual when it comes to her off-duty style, but always with exceptional pieces. I think these jeans and her jacket are just great. I just love the way they both fit her. Grey denim has always been a favorite of mine, but like blue, the right wash with just enough wear and details is a mission. Unlike blue, it is feeling flat more often than not. When I got these R13 Skinny jeans in Black Worn, I could not be more elated to find a grey pair that I can truly be happy with.
I took these in my usual size 27 and would say that they run true to size. They are a bit of a thicker denim, but still have some stretch to them. Unlike their blacks, these are less clingy to the skin which gives them more of a classic skinny opposed to the legging fit.
The fabric is great, just like every pair of R13 jeans. They feel like a true pair of vintage jeans that have been worn down so much that they feel like butter. This is the main reason why I have mostly been living in their jeans over the past many months. The jeans also hold their shape really well. I have worn these since November and have had no problem with bagging anywhere on them.
What can I start with when it comes to the wash? Like I stated earlier, grey is a hard one to get right by anyone. If you get grey right, there is pretty much nothing that you can do wrong. Although this wash is named Black Worn, I would classify them as a medium to dark charcoal wash. They have fading on the thigh to keep them from feeling flat and there is some whiskering on the hips and along the inner thighs of the jeans that are very subtle. So subtle that they are one of those minor details that add so much life even when going unnoticed.
Overall, this is just another one to add to the R13 list that I suggest to anyone to try out. The wash goes with everything (it loves a brown belt) and the fit is just great. You can click here to get them now at SHOPBOP for $325.

We had a few previews of what was to come for Spring/Summer by R13 (here and here) and now it is time to see the full collection. The team at R13 is fearless when it comes to fit. They had classic styles, like the skinny and slouchy fits that the brand is known for, then they have the more bold ones like harems and plaid shorts that mock the look of a shirt tied around the waist.
Outerwear was also in abundance with new styles like M1 jackets and plaid bombers. Then there is the denim that comes in a range of oversized cutoff jackets to classic ones. The brand just never ceases to amaze me. You can see the full collection below.
