Jessica Biel in Joe’s Jeans
Jessica Biel was spotted out running errands and prepping for the Met Ball. She later attended the event with fiance Justin Timberlake, wearing a Prada gown. While I’ve never thought of Jessica as particularly fashionable, I think she’s becoming a bit more daring when it comes to her outfits, I wonder if Justin has had any influence?
For her day out, Jessica wore a pair of Joe’s skinny jeans in Ophelia with a white blouse, loafers and a newsboy cap. I love her incorporation of men’s wear pieces to offset the frilly blouse. Buy these jeans from Joe’s for $179.
Prada Spring 2012
The make-up at the Prada Spring 2012 collection just amazed me…more of the fact that the models were just unrecognizable. I had to take a double look at some of them.
The clothes were so refreshing to see for Milan though. It was minimal, but yet amazing. There was clothing that was still dreamy. It was sophisticated and stuck to the Prada aesthetic. They are definitely making great pieces each season. Prada included the Milan Fashion Week trend, the Bandeau crop top. There were also some looks that included the trends from all of Fashion Month which is perforation, paneling, color blocking, florals, and neons. Katie Holmes in Isabel Marant
Katie Holmes made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to promote her new movie Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark. She wore a pair of red leather Isabel Marant Sok trousers from the Fall 2010 collection with a Madewell Sweater and Prada shoes. I’m usually not a fan of matching the color of your top with your shoes, but I think the color palette of the look is great. I think just a plain black pump would have worked better.
I think the detail of the pants are great. The color is just amazing. The right shade of red that is very wearable. I also like the cropped fit and the subtle tuxedo stripe down the side. Ashley Olsen in Earnest Sewn
Ashley Olsen was seen getting into her car for another work day in New York. She wore a pair of dark gray Earnest Sewn jeans with some TOMS, and a sweater. That Prada bag is amazing! That color combination of the stripes is just perfect.
I’m happy to see Ashley in some jeans finally. She has really gone a more relaxed route and has been choosing simple tank dresses and skirts.
