Behati Prinsloo in Levi’s
Victoria’s Secret Model, Behati Prinsloo, spent some time posing on the beach. Victoria’s Secret hosted an event for their PINK collection. Behati was also joined by fellow Victoria’s Secret model, Chanel Iman, as the two posed and modeled clothes from the line.
Behati paired her PINK tee with a pair of ripped cut off Levi’s shorts. I think that Levi’s shorts are some of the most popular styles, especially because when they’re cut offs, they are always unique. What do you think of the pockets hanging out? I think it lends a really casual vibe, perfect for the beach!
Ellen Pompeo in Denim Jumpsuit
Ellen Pompeo was seen leaving the John Freida salon in LA wearing quite an interesting outfit! She wore a zip-up denim jumpsuit and high heels. Overalls and Coveralls/Jumpsuits have been popping up on runaways like G-Star Raw and Jean Paul Gaultier. Even celebrities like Katie Holmes and Pink have worn the trend. What do you think, do you like Ellen’s look? Personally, I think she looks like she’s wearing a mechanic’s coveralls.

Pink in OshKosh Denim Overalls
Pink was spotted picking up a few items to build a nursery in Malibu, California wearing Osh Kosh denim overalls. I think it’s rather funny that she is wearing these overalls right after the news of her pregnancy has surfaced since Osh Kosh is so well known as a kid’s overall brand.
So what do you think of her outfit? I think it’s rather overly casual even for a pregnant woman… I can see her wearing something like this when 6-7 months pregnant when it starts to get uncomfortable to wear normal pregnancy jeans. Pink has off the wall different style though and I wonder what she will be wearing later in her pregnancy…
The Bettina Liano CURVY campaign features Australia’s Next Top Model
The Australian label Bettina Liano is releasing a curvy fit jean to add to the already famous O collection. Fans of the line include Gemma Ward (who was a former face of the label) Nicole Richie, Pink and Venus Williams. It’s designed with a women’s shape in mind, featuring a sexy silhouette which flatters the smaller waist and larger hips and thighs. Australia’s Next Top Model winner, Tahnee Atkinson, will be the new face of the campaign.
The new cut jeans will be available in two different styles, boot-cut and slider, which is a more straight cut jean. They will be available in indigo rinse, which is Bettina Liano’s signature wash. The brand hopes to add more curvy styles to the collection in the future. Pricing starts at $249 and are available in Bettina Liano boutiques worldwide. Check out images from the campaign below.
Serfontaine launches tailored denim legging
Serafonaine, an LA based fashion house is launching a new kind of fit and technology. They’ve released this technology on their latest style, the denim legging.
The legging will feature the Nano stitch, which features 22 stitches per inch. It also features a screen print, which gives it a two-toned but sophisticated finish.
New technology in the fabric also lends to a better fit with T400 and X fit, within their fabric. Denim Scientists call it memory and T400 has 7 times the capacity to remember and return to its original shape! It is made of multi component yarns that differ from other Lycra as it doesn’t contain Elastane / Spandex, therefore retaining its shape wear after wear. It breathes with the body, stretching 360 degrees, holding all shapes, it will also dry faster and conform to all body types. The brand also adapted this new technology, by dying it black, to create a non-fading black jean.
The founder, Mik Serfontaine, expresses the brand’s focus is “Our premium denim is focused on technology, through technology achieving a superior fit. I want to empower women through fit” This proves true as one of the brand’s best sellers is the exclusive sweetheart cut jean. Its unique curved yoke, that lifts and supports the derriere, has been nominated for best bum lift category at the upcoming InStyle Denim Awards
The brand’s followers include celebrities such as Halle Berry, Heidi Klum, Pink and Jennifer Aniston.
