This weeks review is on a pair of O*T*R Renegade Skinny jeans in Notorious. I got sent these by Boutique To You a while ago and I was pleasantly suprised by them actually. I am always slightly hesitant when so many new brands come on the scene and then just disappear so I always tend to stick to what suits me the best but these O*T*R jeans have been a good shock. I hope the brand stays around!

At first I thought they would just be another cheap pair of jeans which were not a very nice fit or have a nice look to them, but I was wrong as soon as I put them on. They are leggings so they are super skinny all the way to the ankle and they definitely elongate your legs. They are a lower rise which is just how I like the rises to be and they run pretty true to size for leggings, I took a 27 in these and they fit just fine.

The back pockets are also in a very good position but they are accentuated by the stitching lines on the butt. They have moto style stitching all around the top area of the pockets and a few lines on the sides of the pockets as well as at the hem line. I find these lines really add some character to the jeans as the wash is very plain and subtle, they definitely make them more interesting. I do feel that the lines definitely don’t make the butt look as good as it could if the jeans were plain but the design is intriguing so I like it.

They are made with cotton and polyester so if you have a irritation to polyester then these do itch a bit. They are so pretty though so it’s worth actually putting up with the slight itching. The denim is really thin and stretchy as well so they hug your body perfectly while still maintaining the appearance of a jean rather than a legging. The wash is a medium to light blue which has a sort of dusty look to it so it’s easy to pair with a lot of colours or just neutrals.

I think these are definitely a fun jean for fashion purposes but for essential jeans which are really sturdy and flattering I would still recommend the main stream brands. These do make a nice change though and quite a few celebs are a fan of them already! You can buy these jeans at Boutique To You for $136.

These are pretty old, but I just found a good butt shot to confirm the brand that she is wearing. Kate Moss was spotted outside her hotel in London wearing a pair of O*T*R Essential Skinny Jeans in Rainy Days. Kate paired the jeans with her staple brand, Balmain. She chose a leather jacket and a pair of boots from the french fashion house. It looks like Kate was doing some self-promotion here as well. Her tote looks like it has a picture of her Kate Moss Vintage Perfume before switching it to her patchwork Longchamp bag.

I think this is great publicity for the relatively new brand. Kate is one of the few celebrities that whatever she touches turns to gold. Kate loved Anlo so I’m sure these are also one of her favorites. Click here to purchase these jeans at RevolveClothing for $123.

Whitney Port was spotted grabbing some coffee in New York City wearing OTR jeans.  Whitney is looking so model-esque with her long legged self and that coffee in hand…kind of reminds me of some of those run way models when they walked with their Starbucks coffee.  Models imitate celebs or celebs imitate models?

Becoming quite the fashionista, Whitney gave a first look at her new collection at the Piperlime pop-up shop located on Mercer Street in SoHo.  And later in the evening she was spotted at The Lion having dinner with her father and a friend. You can buy these jeans here.

Kim Kardashian was spotted outside E! Studios after doing an interview on Chelsea Lately. She was wearing a pair of O*T*R Runaround jeans in Rainy Day. At first I thought the leggings were by Helmut Lang due to the paneling style. But thank you to Kim’s stylist, Monica Rose, for confirming who they are by.

Are you guys excited for the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians this weekend? From the previews it looks quite dramatic. It also seems like Kim will be making more appearances in this. We have spotted this brand a couple of times and I’m really excited to see more from them! The brand was launched by Anlo founders Jenna Andreola and David Lonstein. It will be making it’s debut this fall at Revolve! I love Katy’s Louboutin’s too!

I love the back pockets of these jeans, I really want to try them. I do think Kourtney pulls them off a lot better though, I don’t like Ellen’s top!

OTR, which is short for Off The Record, is the new lower priced denim line by the founders of Anlo. Seeing that Anlo is still going strong, Founders Jenna Andreola Lonstein and David Lonstein found that there was no need to lower the price points of the brand. Instead they chose the alternative option of starting a new brand all together. After seeing the success of their Anlo denim leggings, the Lonsteins believed that the price point was a major factor of the success. It was a no brainer that a lower priced line was an option in these economic times.
