Here is my third and final look from the Style Lab at Firenze4Ever with LuisaViaRoma. These photos were shot inside a penthouse which was absolutely beautiful and so much cooler in there than it was outside! I went for something a little more classic with this look, something that you could easily wear on a casual Sunday while still looking put together and like you made an effort.
I started out with these Pierre Balmain distressed skinny jeans which I thought were really pretty. I hadn’t ever tried the brand before, so I thought it was a good opportunity to do so. I will say that they ran small though, these are a 28 I am wearing and they are still really tight. The denim is a lot thicker than most designer jeans at the moment as well, they are a lot like old school Diesel jeans as they don’t have a big amount of stretch to them either. The inseam is also very long so I had to bunch them up at the ankles. I do like the unfinished hem though, I’ve noticed quite a few jeans at the moment with raw edges. They also looked nice on the butt and quite flattering. I paired the jeans with an Equipment silk satin blouse in Blue as I liked the colour with the denim. For the accessories, I went with a Mulberry Mini Alexa in Oak as it’s an easy bag for errands and a pair of Alexander McQueen Sequined Skull loafers in Navy as they are comfortable and incredibly easy to walk in, yet still edgy and stylish.
You can see the very first LuisaViaRoma post I made by clicking here (with information on behind the scenes) and you can also see my Style Lab 1 and Style Lab 2. Which outfit is your favourite out of the 3? Since this is the last of my styling lab posts, I want to say a huge thank you to LuisaViaRoma for inviting me, I had an amazing time there! I might make a final post with the closing party soon as well.

In February, Mulberry released 3 bags made out of Candy Pink quilted denim. They are the Lily, The Small Bayswater Satchel and the Bayswater. I saw a preview of these bags last year, quite a few months before they actually got released, and I literally fell in love with the Lily (above). I started saving for it because it combines everything I love; denim, pink, a small bag and cross body. I did save up enough money to buy and it and I am really glad I did. If any of you wanted, I can do a review of the bag?
I wanted to show you all how pretty they are. They have got a few mixed feelings from Mulberry lovers online, but I think that’s because they are denim and quite pink. But since we are all denim lovers here, they are more in favour to us! The actual real colour is definitely more pink in person! The Mulberry photos make the bags look more washed out than they are unfortunately. But what do you think of Mulberry’s Candy Pink quilted denim bags? Do you like them? Buy these three bags online at Mulberry.com.
Lana Del Rey really loves her Hudson jeans! This is the fourth time she’s been spotted out in her Nico mid-rise skinny jeans in Chelsea wash. Most recently, she wore them out to the Staples center, where she watched the Lakers play.
I can’t blame her for wearing them so many times, I think they look great on her and the mid-rise, slim fit leg fits her style perfectly. I do think that I prefer the way she styled them here out of the other times she’s worn them. You can buy these jeans online from Hudsonjeans.com.
It seems like it is going to be a cool Spring in 2012. Mulberry has been added to the list of designers to show some cold weather clothing for spring. It had sweaters, jackets and lets not forget the thermal leggings in some of the looks.
The Spring 2012 Mulberry collection is probably the sweetest collection that I have seen. Let it be the color palette, the cuts, or styling. I can see the Fanning sisters in many of the looks from this show. Designer Emma Hill didn’t keep it too sweet though. She toughened up the looks with leather jackets and a disheveled bouffant. You can click through some of the looks below.
