Cara Delevingne was pictured by the paps unexpectedly outside the Stella McCartney Autumn/Winter 2013 show during Paris Fashion Week in France last week.

Cara wore a pair of super light wash Levi’s skinny jeans with some Chanel sneakers and two jackets. She of course wore her signature beanie as well. I love the fact that she never takes herself too seriously and just has fun with whatever she does! Buy Levi’s jeans online from their website here.

This weeks denim review is on a pair of Levi’s Juniors 535 Leggings in Black As Night that I got a few months ago unexpectedly and actually surprisingly love. To my understanding, their Junior’s range is for the older teenagers and I never really thought about wearing Juniors jeans (or jeans for teenagers) before, but as it turns out, I was really suprised at how well they fitted me.

I got size 5M in these jeans, which I think works out to a size 27 as that’s my usual Levi’s size. Their sizing chart can be quite complicated, but I think if you base it off of a size 5 being a size 27, then you should be able to judge what size you would need. They also do their inseams in S, M and L. I have the M, which measures at a 30″ length, so I am assuming that S will be 28″ and L will be 32″. I have included the jeans measurements at the bottom of the review for you to see and work out yourself, as I know that’s useful.

What suprised me the most about these jeans was how well they fitted me. If I were to compare them to another pair of Levi’s jeans, I would say they fit a lot like the Slight Curve. They are incredibly skinny all over, the rise is of a medium height so it’s comfortable, they are very stretchy and soft and generally feel nice to wear while the back pockets are flattering too. These are their Legging jeans, but honestly they don’t feel or look like leggings at all, they look a lot like a pair of jeans with 5 working pockets, a button and zipper fly and general all round jean stitching, but they do feel so stretchy. They honestly are a pleasure to wear. When I first picked these up, I thought they looked really small, but like most jeggings I wasn’t too worried as I could tell they would stretch to fit. I have been wearing these quite a few times, I’ve been in a black jeans phase of late and these really filled the void I had going on.

I don’t actually own many black jeans, as it stands I probably own about 3-4 pairs out of my entire collection (which I’m ashamed to admit probably tips 300 pairs…) so black jeans are really in the minority. This is usually down to the fact that I can never find a decent pair that is actually as black as I want them to be. Many black jeans have grey or brown undertones to them and look faded, and that’s never the look I like to go for unless they are distressed, so finding the perfect black wash is always a tricky task. With these jeans though, when they say the wash is Black As Night, I would say it’s even more beyond black than that. They really are pitch black, the blackest of black washes I have seen.

The details don’t show up well at all in my close up photos due to the wash. I had to edit the colouring and zoom in on the back pocket photo, that’s why it’s not of the best quality, but you can make out the pockets and the white tab on the side, instead of a red tab. I do apologise that the close up back shot is blurry though, it’s actually fairly difficult trying to photo these jeans properly because of how black they are. That’s what I love about them though, if you are looking for a jean that’s as black as possible, then these are definitely a pair I would recommend trying! I haven’t washed them yet, as I am afraid to as they might lose their colour, so I can’t comment how well they hold up after washing. But from experience, they will fade, which is why I don’t want to stick them in the washer until I absolutely have to.

Since they are black, they are a hair and lint magnet, but of course, every black jeans do that as it’s natural for the colour to attract it. Just keep some tape or a sticky roller near by when you take them off after the day. Also, like most black jeans, they are so versatile, it’s a colour than goes with absolutely everything and the fit helps that too. I haven’t found anything that I couldn’t wear with these jeans yet!

For their price, I would absolutely 100% recommend these to you! They are perfect for a super black, comfortable and flattering jean for such a low price point of below $50! You can’t really go wrong with them. Don’t be put off that they are Juniors, as you can see from my measurements just below, they measure much like women’s jeans! Robert Pattinson stopped to sign some autographs for his fans as he was leaving the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show in Hollywood, California a few days ago. Kristen Stewart was also spotted leaving the studios, but wasn’t a guest, so I assume she was there to support Rob.

Rob chose to wear a pair of Levi’s Vintage Clothing dark wash skinny jeans with some black lace ups, a white t-shirt and a leather and blue contrast style Alexander McQueen baseball jacket, with his striped underwear peeking out. I never used to understand the fascination with him some years ago, however I can definitely say that as he gets older, he is looking better and better! I’m very excited for the finale of Twilight next week! Are you?

Halle Berry and fiance Olivier Martinez were spotted heading to dinner in Beverly Hills. Halle’s new film, Cloud Atlas, premiers on Friday.

Halle wore a pair of Levi’s jeans with a blazer and tee shirt. These are a really unique pair of Levi’s as they have a lot of great detailing. The wash on these looks almost marbled and uneven and they have great ankle zips. I think they fit Halle really well and are a nice change from her boyfriend style jeans.

Gwen Stefani took her sons to a birthday party at her brother’s house in Hollywood. She has been busy promoting No Doubt’s newest album, Push and Shove.

Gwen wore a pair of Levi’s boyfriend jeans with a sheer shirt paneled blouse and a pair of booties. Gwen definitely has a denim collection that I wouldn’t mind raiding! She always has so many unique pieces and always styles them so well.

Candice Swanepoel wore a pair of slouchy Levi’s with a bikini top while on set for a Victoria’s Secret shoot. Candice was joined by fellow Victoria’s Secret model, Doutzen Kroes, while the two shot scenes for the magazine in Miami, FL. I wonder if these are Candice’s own jeans? I love that they have zippers up the back of the legs and are so worn in, they look like they’re vintage.

I’m sure you guessed it! It’s Halle Berry! She was pictured on the set of “The Hive” with her daughter Nahla Aubry in Los Angeles, California while wearing a pair of looser fitting Levi’s jeans. I think this outfit might be part of the set wardrobe as Halle doesn’t usually wear boots like this when she’s out and about.

Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas celebrated his birthday with his Black Eyed Peas band mates at Rain nightclub in Las Vegas, Nevada last week.

Taboo wore a double denim Levi’s outfit which consisted of a pair of dark wash slim fit jeans and a matching denim jacket with stud embellishment and a US flag embroidery. I think the jacket and the jeans are a really good fit actually. I’m just not overly fond of the embellishments.

Gwen Stefani took her son Zuma to Universal CityWalk Hollywood in Los Angeles, California for a play date. This was the second day that Gwen and Zuma did something fun without big brother Kingston, as they went to the beach the day before. I wonder what Kingston might be up to?

Gwen wore a pair of Levi’s Selvedge jeans with a simple white tank and low tops for the day out. It’s nice to see her in these Levi’s jeans actually. We have seen Gwen in a pair of old boyfriend jeans from the brand before and also the Levi’s x Jean Paul Gaultier denim Harem pants, but not an actual pair of their selvedge denim skinnies. Here are some key looks from the Levi’s Fall 2012 Global Collection Preview which was shown during New York Fashion Week. They are saying the event was a hybrid between custom-made vignettes featuring pinnacle products from the line and a runway show.

Celebrity fans including Maria Menounos, Brad Goreski, Harley Viera Newton, Theophilus London, Jessica White, Zachary Levi and Byrdie Bell all came out to celebrate the brand’s new global collection. I have also included some information from the press release below, so you can get a feel for the collection.
