J brand jeans
Heidi Klum was caught on her way to her car in New York. The supermodel wore the J Brand 811 Mid Rise in Imagine with a camisole and the Paige Vermont Jacket in Vintage Black tied around her waist. She finished her look off with her favorite Saint Laurent belt and suede ankle boots.
I find this look to be a bit new for Heidi. We actually haven’t see her wear shirts or jackets tied around the waist before and I think it looks great on her. It just looks like a natural idea on her opposed to a trend. I also think that the 811 cut by J Brand is a perfect cut with these boots. The slightly straighter cut helps bring out the laid back attitude to the overall look. You can click here to purchase the Paige jacket from REVOLVE and here for the J Brand jeans from their website.
I couldn’t have been more excited when first seeing the J Brand 835 Mid-Rise Capri in Exposure. I just love the way the repaired detailing works so fluidly with the distressing of the jeans. Not to mention the undone hem that adds just that bit more to the look with the way the threads hang when styling them with running sneakers, like these all white Roshes by Nike.
I wanted to go for a look that had that sense of reckless abandonment that I feel these jeans embody. I paired the jeans with a t shirt by LnA as I find the distressing to play against this fringe Saint Laurent jacket really well. Then to finish it off and carry that western feel, a brimmed hat from Brixton. The look is a bit of a hodgepodge of pieces that are just thrown together, but in a sense works well with the vibe it gives off when all paired together. How would you style these jeans?
Here is the new Fall 2015 campaign from J Brand. For the new season, J Brand continued their relationship with stylist Alastair McKimm and photographer Josh Olins to showcase the extreme silhouettes in the smart sense that the brand is known for. Along with sleek, J Brand added edge to The High Desert House located shoot.
The new campaign has a mood to it that hasn’t been touched by the brand before. This is probably their edgiest collection to date, especially for men. Pieces like moto leather pants and coats are strong and definitely are a life of their own that shows why the brand has had such an impact and the longevity as they have. Check out the women’s campaign above and their men’s below.
Ellie Goulding was spotted in arms with her boyfriend Dougie Poynter as she arrived back in London at Heathrow Airport. The singer wore a pair of the J Brand Maria High Rise in Black Heart with some ankle boots and a plaid shirt as she made her way through the airport.
We haven’t seen these jeans out. I do find the shreds on them to be very bold, but when styled right, like here, they work really well. I also think they are one of those pairs of distressed jeans that will only look better as they wear out, so I am interested in seeing how far Ellie will take these jeans.
