Sarah Jessica Parker was snapped doing the school run with her twin daughters. Her daughters have gotten so big, I’m sure they’re going to inherit their mom’s unique sense of style!

LeAnn Rimes held a showcase of her new album Spitfire on Los Angeles, California back in March. The singer wore a pair of the J Brand Leather Leggings in Cement with a snake printed silk shirt and opted to go barefoot. One thing that I have noticed about LeAnn is that she mixes different shades of the same color very well. It keeps her looks from looking just basic.

I instantly feel for these pants when i first saw them when they came out. I never would have thought a pale grey pair of leather pants would be this appealing. Here is a look at some new styles that J Brand has for the men this Summer. J Brand is always one to keep their men’s styles classic with a few tweaks here and there to freshen them up, like the Kane in Bowery above, they updated the staple light blue jeans by adding 3D wrinkling at just the waist area and hand sanded details.

They have the Tyler in Varick (image 5), which is an ultra faded style in a super slim fit. A pair that is very on trend this season is the Kane in Ludlow (image 4). These are a pair made of chambray, so they are perfect for beating the upcoming heat. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were snapped while out shopping in SoHo. The couple were in New York City to attend the Met Ball. I’m glad to see Kim wearing something a bit more casual than the dresses we’ve been seeing her out in lately.

When I was in London last month, I also got to see the J Brand Autumn/Winter 2013 collection for the guys as well as the women (you can see the women’s here). The guys only had a small rail of clothes, but from what I could see it was much brighter than the women’s collection wash in terms of colour!

A few of my favourite pieces from the new styles were definitely the light wash grey denim jacket above, the burgundy acid wash jean and also the mid grey wash jean. It’s always nice to see denim jackets being released in different shades and I like the fact that they have strayed away from the classic blue. The grey really is a nice alternative! Their denim jacket also comes in a lighter camel colour, which you can see just below.

There were some other jeans in chino inspired colours, like a washed red, a stone, a bluey grey etc and they seem like they would be more suited to summer, however I can definitely see guys rocking these with jackets for the cooler weather. Acid wash is generally a wash you associate with summer as well, but I think the colour palette of dark shades like burgundy and black really makes it winter appropriate!

Even though I find the pants to kind of blend in with the shoes, I still think Shakira looks great here. I find everything to fit really well and she’s styled great, especially the pants. It has been long overdue to see Gwen in these pants. She is one that is constantly caught in the new styles by J Brand, whether it be their cargos or their more uniquely detailed pairs like the Roz or tie-dyed pairs. One of my favourite brands to see when I get to attend the press days in London is definitely J Brand. I’m always intrigued to see what prints and styles they will be coming out with next and what will be a leading jean/pant for them that season. The Autumn/Winter 2013 collection was definitely very reminiscent of the season and there are some pieces here that I think you will love!

In the photo above, you can see a black and white crazy striped sort of geometric jean which I thought was really cool. I can definitely see someone like Gwen Stefani sporting those! Next to them is something inventive, it’s a pair of black leather skinnies, however at the outerseam there are studs underneath the leather, so they raise the leather up in small bumps to give a 3D effect. The next black pair along was a regular jean, but they had studs in patterns along the calves as you can see and the other 3 styles were fairly simple, you can just see what they look like as there isn’t much to describe for them.

As for the coloured jeans that J Brand usually release each season, they were quite sparse this time around and the overall theme was monochrome in black/grey/white and beige. There were a couple of jeans in colours, but these were primary red and primary blue, which you can see in images 4 and 5. I was quite suprised actually that brands are now starting to stray away from bold shades and reign it back into classics. I’m wondering what SS14 might be like!

Image number 8 is of a pair of jeans which are snake print in black and silver, but they also look like little diamonds up close. I thought those were pretty. Image 9 is a very cool purple and grey ombre jean, but in a much different way because they are printed too with tiny little abstract squares, which I think is a great new take on the trend. Image 10 is of one of their classic blue denim vests which I really liked and then in image 11 you can see some of their distressed blue boyfriend jeans as well as some darker and non distressed blue washes. I love their classics!

Image 12 is their classic black leather skinny pants which everyone loves. 13 is a new black skinny with metal style detailing around the knees which you can see. These are definitely different and remind me a lot of almost futuristic wear or robotic clothing. Then finally is the grey denim shirt which is a new take on the trend for the colder months and also a pair of grey jeans. I think this new Autumn/Winter 2013 collection from J Brand is definitely one of their most sophisticated. I can tell they went down a different route with this season because gone are the really loud and intense prints and they are replaced with some sleek and minimalistic styles. Gwen Stefani was spotted leaving a friend’s house in Los Angeles, California. The No Doubt frontwoman wore a pair of the new J Brand Croft Cargo Pants in Vintage Garrison with some lace-up boots.

I am not one bit surprised to see that Gwen is one of the first to get caught in these pants. She was the FIRST to get caught in the pair that brought cargos back on the map, the famous Houlihans. After testing out a few of the slimmer cargos, I am sure Gwen wanted to go back to her classic look of the slouchy cargo. We haven’t seen Jenna out in too many pairs of jeans lately, she seems like she prefers to wear dresses over jeans while she’s pregnant. This is a great jacket to layer over a flowy dress since the sleeves add a nice amount of edge to the look, this is still one of my favorite pieces from J Brand lately.
