This jacket was chosen because of the color alone. I find it to be very fresh and can work for the current season and easily for spring. Wear it with dark denim for winter and over a white maxi dress when it starts to warm up.

Denim Leather Travis Shirt

You can never go wrong with a denim shirt and IRO has come out with new ways to keep the classic style fresh by adding interesting details like leather. Last season they did black leather front pockets and this season it is white. They are placed on the shoulders and the rim of the front pockets, that gives off a western feel without taking it too far.

Acid Washed Lewin Jeans

Acid washed/bleached jeans are making a return this season. The great thing is the range. You can chose something more subtle like these or more extreme by others. You can easily pair these with other pieces that you already own and wont look dated.

Kara Sweater

A knit sweater is a staple that everyone should own. It can easily be thrown on with just a pair of jeans and ankle boots. IRO freshened up the classic by making it in a lemon-lime color and adding a cool detail like open weaving on the sides.

Khaki Striped Noah Shirt

The print on this shirt is just amazing. When you are tired of a solid, but not into screen prints, I think, this shirt is the way to go. The green can easily be worn with everything from blue to black jeans and spruce up a look that would otherwise look generic.

Tweed Leather Jake Jacket

A tweed jacket has become synonymous with IRO. Each season it is reinterpreted with either sequence and/or distressing. But for Spring it was given a new shape that is taking up everywhere, from the runways to the streets, oversized. Also this season, the theme of leather patching is very present in this jacket amongst the many others that they have to offer.

Berry coloured denim has been my favourite ‘coloured denim’ shade for a really long time now. I just love the variety of purples, pinks and deep reds that berry can come in and so many brands are releasing their take on the colour. I own a few pairs myself, I have Paige’s Eternity Verdugo’s, 7 For All Mankind’s Dark Violet Gummy’s and the J Brand Black Cherry skinnies.

Berry is actually my favourite shade for Fall/Winter, it’s so versatile and I also own it in lots of clothes like shoes, tops, a dress and a coat. It’s perfect! IRO has just launched their new E-Shop on their website. I found their clothing to be one of the hardest to hunt down and am so happy that they launched their own shop online. Everything is at my fingertips now. Another thing that is great about the new feature on the site is that it is for both the men’s and women’s lines. Here is the male counterpart to the women’s IRO collection. I also love this one. The line features a denim jacket with the sherpa lining just like the women’s. My favorite from from the men’s though would have to be the khaki suede jacket. That is just a need for fall.

Another piece that is my favorite is the baseball jacket. Actually all of the outerwear. I cannot stop looking at them. I think IRO just knows what they are doing with the outerwear market. The line also features some denim pieces like some shirts and their signature faded black denim as well as the repair jeans. I think some celebrities should really step out in some IRO. I cannot get enough of this French brand. IRO just gets more and more amazing when I see the looks from the new seasons. Nothing is ever too pristine nor too grungy. Just unfussy clean clothing that just looks amazing however and with whatever you wear them with.

My favorite pieces from Fall/Winter would have to be…EVERYTHING! The sweaters and outerwear are just to die for. Those are going to be popular ones. I just love the jacket above! The sherpa lining and the wash is just amazing. The gray coat is also a big hit with me. I also love their new leather pants. They are like a new take on the cargo pant. Here is a look at both the men’s and women’s IRO campaigns for Spring/Summer 2011. In the women’s campaign you can see some of the pieces such as the red pants, denim shorts, leather pants from the look book.

The men’s collection this season has the same fatigue cool that the past collection offered. The color palette this season consisted of all neutrals. All black, white, gray and what was in between, but the detail was kept unique so everything had a fresh feel. My favorite pieces would have to be the blazer with zippers on the sleeves and the jacket with panels on the shoulders, as well as the belts. I think those are a great addition to the looks. Here is a look at the new IRO Women’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection starring Hannah Holman. I think the collection is very whimsical and fun this season, with the IRO laid-back feel of course.

There are tons of prints and fabrications this season. There is tweed, suede, leather and of course denim. I can see many of the pieces being coveted by many women when it is available. You can see a pair of sequined shorts that are very on trend, as well as pinstriped bottoms. They have the usual plain stripes and a pair that are burnt, flower printed, and flared. Drew Barrymore was spotted a few months back at the Young Hollywood Studios to do a photo session and promote her movie Going the Distance. She was wearing a pair of IRO Madisson Jeans for the talk. I’m happy to see that Drew is the first person we spotted in IRO jeans. The vibe of the brand really suits her style perfectly. It is a little boho mixed with grunge.

Going the Distance probably has to be one of my all time favorite movies. The lines are so vulgar and funny, yet it is not irritating. Some vulgar movies can cross that line very easily. Click here to purchase these jeans at Ssense for $225.

As you know I am a huge fan of the Fall/Winter women’s collection by IRO and the collection for the men’s is equally just as amazing. I love the fatigue feeling of the collection. I think the jackets and the sweaters are amazing, especially the Jim and Logan jackets. They are so well tailored.

IRO also interpreted the Bob Pants from the women for the men. The Dav Trouser also includes zippers at the pockets but comes in a baggier fit.
