My initial reaction when I saw this outfit on Miranda Kerr was ‘Wow! She looks amazing!’ and I think I will feel that way forever! She was snapped here in this all black ensemble while she was out and about in New York City.

Usually I’m not a fan of all black in one look without colour, but because of the different textures here and the slightly different shades, Miranda makes it look amazing! Miranda Kerr was spotted arriving at LAX Airport to catch a flight out of Los Angeles, California. The model wore a pair of Helmut Lang Leather Leggings with some Marant sneakers and an A.L.C. leopard print cardigan. She finished off the look by accessorizing it with a Givenchy bag and Prada sunglasses.

The pairing of skinny leather pants, or just skinny pants for that matter, with the Marant sneakers seems to be the current staple for many women. We have seen many different takes on the look, but Miranda somehow makes it look just a bit more amazing. She just never gets it wrong in my opinion. Diane Kruger walked the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie Special Forces in Paris, France. Being one of the Chanel muses, she was decked out in a jacket and some leather pants by Helmut Lang with some McQueen shoes.

I think Rihanna looks like Kristen Stewart in this look. Knotted tee, skintight pants, and some sneakers…well Rihanna’s are creepers but it just screams K-Stew. The look isn’t bad, I just detest creepers.

Rihanna’s style has really changed over the past few months. She hasn’t opted for her usual heels. She has recently been choosing flat footwear and sneakers. I do like that she has been pairing everything with Vans though. They are a pair of shoes that I think more “fashion” people should be wearing. Nothing beats a look with a pair of classic sneakers. Emmanuelle Alt was spotted making her way to the Calvin Klein show during New York Fashion Week earlier this month. Taking a liking to the brand, like many editors, Emmanuelle chose a pair of J Brands for the show. This time she chose a pair of the Lovestory in Ink. These jeans are so classic and it’s a nice change to see her in another style and wash besides skinny and black.

Emmanuelle has said that she loves simpler jeans and thinks that they should not be designed. This explains why she hasn’t worn any of the styles by the houses that she consults for. Also, Emmanuelle recently stepped down from her consulting role at Balmain. She will be replaced by Melanie Ward from Helmut Lang. I’m interested in seeing how the fashion house will change. Hiding her face under a hat this time from the paps, Cheryl Cole was seen heading into The X Factor studios for the last time for the final show yesterday in London, England. Speaking of the final, I never expected One Direction to go out so early! They have been favourites to win but I am glad that Matt won, he deserves it! I know One Direction will make it big anyway as will Rebecca.

Cheryl was wearing a pair of Helmut Lang mid rise jeans style denim leggings and I am loving the way she paired them with this outfit! It has a very vintage feel to it but it’s still really modern with the shapes and colours being so bright. The shoes are gorgeous and the coat and hat really finish it off. I think I would have preferred no scarf as the outfit would look more crisp then. Hopefully we still see candids of Cheryl because I have enjoyed blogging about her. Normally, Kourtney Kardashian’s style is my favorite of the Kardashian sisters. But I have no idea what she was thinking wearing this denim/leather jacket combo by Espaco (which she paired with a pair of Paige Premium jeans). This jacket swallows her up and is way to overwhelming for her tiny frame. Not to mention it looks pretty dated.  If you want to go for a similar style, stick to options by Helmut Lang and Balmain!
