For one of the new promotional videos for Saturday Night Live, Gwyneth Paltrow wore a pair of jeans from the Current/Elliott x Marni collection. She chose the boyfriend fit with geometric squares painted on the front. I think these are an interesting pair of jeans, but being Gwyneth she of course wore them really well. She has such great style to go along with that amazing hair of her’s. It is so perfectly cut.
Did you readers see Gwyneth this weekend on SNL? I think she has great comedic skills, but I don’t know about SNL anymore. The jokes have just been so lackluster even borderline not funny the past few seasons. I prefer the seasons past with Tina Fey as the writer.
Gwyneth Paltrow graces the cover of the new January 2011 issue of InStyle magazine in Chanel and Siwy. That wasn’t the only french label that she wore in the magazine. For the music inspired photo spread Gwyneth wore Balmain. She was styled in a pair of the bleached shorts with the stapled and safety-pinned denim vest from the new Spring 2011 collection. I think the shorts are definitely her style but not the vest. She does look great though.
I’m really interested in seeing Gwyneth’s new movie Country Strong. I’ve never been into country music, but there are some great ones here and there. But the story line of this movie has really caught my attention, and the soundtrack isn’t that bad either. “Coming Home” probably has to be my favorite song from the soundtrack. Click here to pre-order some of the pieces from the spring collection.
These pictures are from back in June but they never made it to the blog. Gwyneth Paltrow was seen picking up the children while wearing the famous J Brand Houlihan cargo pants in Vintage Olive. She put them together with a simple pair of tan sandals and a plain white, long sleeve tee and sunglasses.
I’m not really sure what I think about them being unzipped like that though, I don’t think I like it. It makes the pants look unfinished and sloppy in my opinion. I much prefer them zipped up or cuffed a little bit for a smarter look. These look like they will be flapping in the wind! Buy these pants at Singer22 for $230 or you can buy these pants at Boutique to You for $230. You can read my review of these pants by clicking here.
Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest cover girl for the August issue of Vogue. Gwyneth appears in Burberry Prorsum on the cover of the issue but kept it more casual for the editorial spread. Gwyneth wore a pair of American Eagle boyfriend jeans and paired them with a pajama style top.
I am really surprised to see American Eagle represented in Vogue! I do think that it’s great Vogue is branching out and not being as label conscious, rather focusing on the fashion aspect. American Eagle is super popular with celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Cameron Diaz, and Britney Spears. What do you think of American Eagle appearing in Vogue? Is it a good thing or does the magazine lose its “status”?
