I came across the promo shot for the new show Style to Rock of Erin Wasson. In true Erin style, nothing is pristine. The model paired her J Brand Leather Leggings in Noir with a ripped sheer shirt and some black pumps.
Are you guys excited to see Erin’s new show? Produced by Rihanna, Erin is joined by Pharrell and Mel Ottenberg as a mentor for the competition show on the Style Network. I am intrigued by the show, knowing who the mentors are and that Rihanna is on board. I will admit though, that there have been many incarnations of fashion competitions before and have all lacked the luster of the first few seasons of Project Runway. We got asked to feature more models here on DenimBlog and next up is Erin Wasson. The model/actress/stylist/designer braved the chill, though she still looked freezing, during New York Fashion Week to pose for some photos. She wore a pair of the Balmain Suede Zip Skinny Jeans in Black with a coat and some pumps.
This is a sighting that I have been waiting to get since I last saw her in them. I have always been a fan of these since they first walked a few seasons back. They have the classic vibe of a pair of black jeans, but a little more because of the supple texture of the suede. I hope we get more sightings of her in these. You can click here to purchase Balmain from SSENSE.
Erin Wasson is the newest face of One Teaspoon! She modeled looks from the brand’s upcoming Love Cat collection, which was shot at Venice Beach in LA.
The images feature Erin on the beach capture both the model and the brand’s bohemian/rock ‘n’ roll style perfectly. The pairing seems like a well made match as Erin said, “I’m a fan for life.” Some of the looks include tie dyed jeans and bleached out shorts and even a metallic gold pair of jeans. Check out images from the look book and video below:
Erin Wasson did a spread for the June 2011 issue of Elle France. Se was styled in casual, country woodman looks. She wore a pair of the pinned and stapled denim shorts by Balmain. She also donned a pair of Zadig and Voltaire sequined shorts and some really cool quilted leather shorts.
I think Erin has some great style. Her jewelry line is great too. I have a few pieces from her jewelry line that are staples for everyday. Sometimes I wonder if she styles herself in some of her shoots. They are usually casual in most of them. You can check out the looks below.
