Miranda Cosgrove was spotted at the Westfield Sunrise Shopping Mall in Massapequa, New York to do a signing for her new CD. She wore a pair of the David Kahn Nikki Ankle Jeans in Goldrush. I wonder if Miranda will be wearing some David Kahn on her show iCarly. I’ve spotted quite a few big name denim brands on the show.
When I look at the Nickelodeon stars compared to Disney stars, I see so much of a difference. The stars from Nick seem to stray away from trouble and tend to be more mellow. Also their movie role choices seem to be different as well. Disney leans towards mainstream, while Nick chooses more indie. Do you readers notice the difference as well? Here is the brand new Spring/Summer 2011 Look Book for David Kahn denim. There are definitely a lot of fashion forward and on trend pieces in this collection. They have a very interesting take on the cargo/flight pants (above) as well. They are tie dye and ombre washed on a baggy cargo pant. I quite like them. There are also a few other great pieces from this line. This collection is only small for Spring/Summer though. They just have a few key pieces.
David Kahn jeans has re launched its denim brand into the contemporary market with a new, fresh and innovative design direction. The new David Kahn collection reminds me a lot of Siwy jeans and J Brand with a couple of the washes and names. It looks really on trend though.
Top Designer and Wash Specialist Bryan Boone, formerly of J Brand, has joined David Kahn, bringing his talents and intricate knowledge of trend, technique and merchandising for a stunning result. Reaching far beyond denim and into a variety of fabrics in conjunction with his unique approach to wash development, Bryan has quickly caught the eye of top editors, key buyers and reinvigorated the existing cult following of the brand.
The jeans will have a price range of $175-250 and will be available to buy at http://www.davidkahnjeans.com.
