This is an old issue but the jeans are really cool they have to be blogged again. This time wearing the shredded, sequined Ralph Lauren jeans (which was actually before Blake Lively) is Alexa Chung. She graced the cover of the March 2010 Vogue UK issue wearing the amazing jeans.

I think these jeans suit both of them well. Both made sure that these jeans stood out, which doesn’t all that much help. Alexa gives them an English/Model-off-Duty look, while Blake’s look was more laid back. I actually didn’t think these were going to be all that versatile. I thought they were more of a dressier pair due to the sequins. But looking at the way they were styled between these two, it shows that they can be dressed up or down. I wonder who we will spot in these next?

Blake Lively in Ralph Lauren

These have the be the most expensive jeans we have ever spotted on a celebrity. Probably more than our Balmain sightings put together. These jeans cost a crazy $7,500. Though they are for work, Blake Lively was spotted wearing a pair of shredded, sequined jeans by Ralph Lauren from the Spring 2010 collection on the set of Gossip Girl. Blake has said that she rarely has time to shop and that most of her shopping is done during her fittings. So I wonder if these were one of her recent purchases?

The more I look at these photos I wonder if this was an outfit for shooting. It looks a little laid back to be a Serena Van Der Woodsen outfit. Also, looking back on past episodes… I don’t remember seeing her in denim that often. But we seem to be getting a couple of denim sightings here and there on set of not just Blake but other cast members. Let’s hope that denim gets some air time this coming season. Gossip Girl star Blake Lively was seen out and about in New York on set wearing her Paige Premium Denim cutoff shorts. Blake pairs her denim shorts with a striped button up shirt for a casual and cute look. Everyone seems to love Paige Premium shorts! I have a pair and they are so pretty! They are incredibly short though.

Penn Badgley in 7 For All Mankind Cut Offs

Penn Badgley was spotted with girlfriend Blake Lively on a lovely stroll around the Meatpacking District in New York. He was wearing a pair of 7 For All Mankind cut offs. I don’t think these are part of the Sevens collection. They must have been cut off by Penn himself. Are you readers excited for the new season of Gossip Girl? I’m waiting to see what happened to Chuck after the attack.

As much as I have blogged about these, I am actually not a big fan of the denim cut offs on men. I really do not know why… it is just not my cup of tea when it comes this trend. Though I do think all of them wore the trend great. Which male celebrity was your favorite in the denim cut-off trend so far?
