Mary-Kate Olsen came out to support friend Vanessa Traina on her new collection with French label Maje along with sister Ashley. She wore her second skin, seriously these don’t come off her legs, her Custom-Made Jeans By Maxfields LA.
Mary-Kate and Ashley recently did a spread for the new issue of Vogue Magazine (Rihanna is on the cover). I wonder when or if they will also grace the cover. They had some funny things to say, like a reason why they are the shortest in their family (being twins they had to split the height) to their closets. Ohh…to have the shopping budget of an Olsen.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were spotted walking the red-carpet at the announcement party for the CFDA Awards. They were nominated for the Swarovski Award for emerging womenswear design for high-end line, The Row. It’s amazing how successful they have become in the fashion world with the start of one t-shirt.
Leave it to Mary-Kate to show up to this event in a pair of jeans. She wore her custom-made jeans by Maxfields LA. I wonder if Ashley has thought about wearing these jeans again, Mary-Kate practically stole them from her closet. Mary-Kate is also wearing another one of my favorite things, the Balenciaga symphony belt. I just love this belt. It gives the same edge of a studded belt without the studs.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen held a launch party for their Textile Elizabeth and James Line at Tacombi in New York. The event had guests such as sister Elizabeth Olsen, Leandra Medine of manrepeller.com, Harper’s Bazaar’s Joanna Hillman, theglamourai.com’s Kelly Framel, milkandmode.com’s Carol Han, and Erica Domesek of PSimadethis.com.
Each tried on a pair of jeans from the Spring 2011 line while DJ Cassie Coane spun music. Mary-Kate and Ashley themselves were also wearing a pair of bottoms from the Fall 2011 collection. I love the pair on Mary-Kate. I think the carpenter style of them is really cool, as well as the ankle-zips and the rust color. I cannot wait till those are available. You can check out images from the event below.
Yay! The Maxfields jeans are now spotted on Mary-Kate Olsen. She was spotted leaving an art showing at the New Museum on Bowery Street in New York City.
I am still amazed by these jeans. They have an edge to them that I really like with the white stitching and the detail in the fly area. They are just the perfect pair, I think. I like the tighter fit of these on Mary-Kate. They seemed like they were a bit loose on Ashley. I also like that Mary-Kate kept most of her pieces fitted. We usually only see her in baggier things. It’s nice to see her in fitted clothes. These jeans are not available at all but I have found a very similar pair by Sevens.
