I think this is our second sighting of Antonio Banderas on DenimBlog! We haven’t blogged about him since 2009 when he wore a white pair of True Religion jeans. This time he opted for a classic pair of PRPS jeans while he was shopping with his wife, Melanie Griffith, in Andalusia, Spain.

I’m glad Antonio ditched those white True Religion jeans and turned to PRPS. I really like the way PRPS look on the guys, the washes are authentic looking and vintage while the fits are nice. I actually really love this pair Antonio has on. I wonder if he can actually give Melanie those huge cute eyes like his character Puss in Boots in Shrek? Ha ha, it would be a great way to get what he wants!

Antonio Banderas apparently decided to take the straightforward approach to explaining why his wife, Melanie Griffith, checked herself into rehab. He said Melanie had been sober for six years, but when she injured her knee a year-and-a-half ago in a skiing accident, she had to have three operations. Melanie was prescribed narcotics for pain management and was honest when she said she thought she needed help. Here is Antonio wearing True Religion Jeans. Our well wishes go out to Melanie to get through rehab safely, quickly and successfully!
