I love Anne Hathaway- she’s one of my favorite actresses. She’s smart, she’s funny, she doesn’t seem to care what people think. Which, I have to say, is evident here. The combination of the empire waist, spaghetti straps and short skirt on this dress doesn’t flatter her great figure.

There are so many other options out there, Anne! Since your stylist is MIA, may I make a suggestion or three? These would be so much better on you!

Current/Elliott “The Ruffle” dress in Night: This dress gives you the same “young” feeling with its slim straps and ruffles up the back- but instead of fitting like a babydoll dress, it’s a bit longer and has a lower, more natural waist, something that would really emphasize Anne’s hourglass figure.
