Emma Stone in J Brand Maria
Landing at LAX, Emma Stone was all smiles for the paparazzi. Emma was in town to attend the MTV Movie awards where she won the first ever, Trailblazer award!
Emma wore a pair of J Brand’s Maria high rise skinny leggings in Majestic with a denim blouse and sweater. Both Emma and Andrew Garfield have been spotted in Rag & Bone a lot lately, it’s nice to see her switch it up. Busy promoting at Wondercon, Emma Stone wore a pair of J Brand’s 910 skinny jeans in Heirloom wash. Emma wore them with a navy blazer and snake print heels. I love seeing what celebrities are wearing to events like WonderCon because they’re much more casually dressed and I feel like we see more of their personal style.
Emma was at the convention to promote her film, The Amazing Spider-Man, which she stars in with boyfriend, Andrew Garfield. Last week, Emma was seen leaving opening night of Andrew’s play, Death of A Salesman. I’m excited to see the two of them on screen together in Spiderman! Andrew Garfield made an appearance at Comic-Con last week to promote Spider Man with co-star Emma Stone. Andrew pulled a little prank by showing up in a Spider Man costume and jumped on stage as if he were a rabid fan.
He wore a pair of J Brand Kane jeans in Hemi with a Stand Up to Cancer tee. I love everything about these jeans. I think they fit Andrew really well and the wash is just perfect. I appreciate an amazing lighter wash a lot more than a darker one when it is done right and these are. One thing that I love about J Brand jeans is that they are lightweight. Balmain Homme Fall 2011
The first thing I noticed this season from the new Balmain Homme collection is that there are some new colors. Not just the usual khaki and other fatigues, but some orange and teal, blues, and greens. The second thing that I noticed as well, looking through the collection, was movement. The model this season was not as stiff like the previous.
The collection started off with a Ivy League college sort of vibe, much like Andrew Garfield’s character in The Social Network. I can actually see Andrew and someone like Hayden Christensen rocking the looks from this season. Then later on in the collection, it moved towards a wilderness vibe, having more khaki and other earth-tones being more prominent in the looks. There was also fur this season (I am such a fan of the foxtail keychains on the messenger bag above). Something that designer Christophe Decarnin has never done for the men. The jeans are also amazing. Surprisingly no motorcycle styles this season, just simple faded black washes with some having sandblasted touches. I am in-love with the zipper jeans from Looks 17 and 22. Probably my favorite pair ever from the fashion house. You can check out the full Fall 2011 collection below.
