Alexa Chung was pictured with some friends while out for a walk in the Soho area of New York City last week. Funnily enough, pretty much the only times we have been able to feature Alexa on the blog is in denim dresses. She really loves them!

Alexa wore her dark blue Stella McCartney denim dress (which we saw her in before) with a pair of lace flats, a green military style jacket and a bright red bag. This outfit is a very unlikely pairing with the pieces she has mixed together. I think I would prefer it without the jacket though!

I love this photo of Alexa Chung out and about in SoHo, New York. It’s almost like it could be a Vogue editorial. The paps took a great shot with the intense blur in the background and making Alexa completely in focus, it’s perfect!

It makes it even more appealing that she’s wearing one of her favourite pieces, a denim dress. This one is different to the one she usually likes to wear. Alexa opted for a mid wash pinafore style this time around. It does look like the bottom of it is sewn together to make it into a really baggy pair of shorts though, but I’m unsure if that’s the angle or if that’s the style of the dress.

Alexa Chung was seen leaving her Manhattan apartment to catch an international flight to London. Alexa wore a simple Stella McCartney denim dress with a pair of Mary Jane flats.

I love this Stella McCartney dress that Alexa has been spotted out in before, it is such a blank slate in terms of fashion choices. I’d love to see Alexa pair it with some bolder accessories, like some fun heels or a necklace.

Here are the new Magnolia Leather Shorts in Love Lost by Siwy. They have the classic fit of their shorts, but in leather instead of the classic denim. Another thing that is different about these is that the pockets all feature zippers. I also think the seaming at both the front and back is a great detail. It keeps them from looking too simple.

I hope to see these on one of the Siwy regulars, especially on Kate Moss or maybe even Alexa Chung. They each have such different styles, but these shorts just suit both of their styles. Rachel Bilson did some shopping at the Grove last weekend. She has been busy promoting her new show on the CW, Hart of Dixie. Rachel said of the show, which premiers on Monday’s, “Everyone should tune into…Hart of Dixie because it’s a lot of fun and there’s cute boys.”

Rachel wore a pair of pink shorts in cord from Alexa Chung for Madewell’s collection. Rachel always tries so many different fashions and looks and serves as a stylist for a few brands, I wonder if she’s going to come out with her own collection or a collaboration. Alexa Chung was spotted walking down the streets of New York City chatting on her cell phone. She was wearing an itty bitty denim shirt dress. This dress is so ill-fitting and tiny on her, I don’t think it’s a flattering look for her at all.

Although Alexa’s NYC-based talk show, It’s on With Alexa Chung, was canceled, Alexa is relocating to the Big Apple. She recently split with her Arctic Monkey’s boyfriend and will be moving from London to NYC.

Alexa Chung was seen out and about in New York city yesterday while wearing a very contrasting outfit. I can’t say I like those sunglasses, I think they make the outfit look really weird actually.

Alexa wore a pair of vintage Levi’s denim shorts with Converse and a red polka dot shirt. I do really like vintage Levi’s, I think they are great for Summer. I found out a little while ago that Mulberry actually named their Alexa satchel bag after Alexa Chung. I never knew that before so I thought that was a really interesting bit of information! The Alexa bag is gorgeous! It’s actually my favourite of their bags.

Doesn’t the new Mulberry Resort collection just make you wish your summer camp uniform looked like this? The camp inspired collection featured quite a few denim pieces from shirts, jeans, dresses, and skirts. This collection just looks so fun and young with some quirk to it. I just think the look above is great. I love that striped sweater.

Mulberry has become more and more popular with it. I just love how they stick to their English roots, but mix it up. I think the styling is quirky, very Alexa Chung. I can see her in quite a few of these looks. What are your thoughts on it? You can check out some of the looks below.

After launching a successful first collection with Madewell, it looks like the brand has enlisted Alexa Chung to design a second collection. The collection will feature the same design aesthetic of Alexa’s downtown style, such as polka dots and high waisted denim that was such a hit in her first collection. Although her second collection is not supposed to debut until Fall 2011, you can get your Alexa-Madewell fix starting March 15th. Alexa will be styling pieces from the brand’s spring collection with pieces from her own closet.

This is an old issue but the jeans are really cool they have to be blogged again. This time wearing the shredded, sequined Ralph Lauren jeans (which was actually before Blake Lively) is Alexa Chung. She graced the cover of the March 2010 Vogue UK issue wearing the amazing jeans.

I think these jeans suit both of them well. Both made sure that these jeans stood out, which doesn’t all that much help. Alexa gives them an English/Model-off-Duty look, while Blake’s look was more laid back. I actually didn’t think these were going to be all that versatile. I thought they were more of a dressier pair due to the sequins. But looking at the way they were styled between these two, it shows that they can be dressed up or down. I wonder who we will spot in these next?
