Alexa Chung was spotted making her rounds at New York Fashion Week. The model wore a pair of vintage Levi’s 501s with a sweater from her Alexa Chung for AG line and some brogues. She then finished her look off with a coat and a plaid scarf to beat the chill.
I cannot profess how much I appreciate the wash of vintage Levi’s and they just can’t be beat nor replicated perfectly. It is not just the wash that I think makes the jeans, but also the texture of the denim. This can only be done by decades of wear. How many of you can’t get enough of the look of vintage Levi’s? Alexa Chung posed for the cameras at the New York launch of her Alexa Chung for AG line. The model wore a pair of the Brianna Jeans in Sulfur Natural. She paired the jeans with a white button down and some two tone loafers.
Though this is a collaboration, I find that Alexa has really paid attention to the fits and details. I find this cut here on Alexa to have a great high waisted cut that doesn’t have a “mom feel”. The slightly wider hem also makes them feel more refreshing among the other high waisted styles that are out right now. It’s definitely a cut that I can see many girls loving. Alexa Chung posed with designer Christopher Kane at the launch of her Alexa Chung for AG collection in London. For the event, the model wore the Pixie dress from the collaboration with some sparkled tights and ankle boots.
I like that Alexa took the idea of the denim shirt and restructured it into a fitted dress. I find that we don’t see a piece like this too often. How many of you are excited for this collaboration? You can click here to purchase AG from SHOPBOP.
