I have fallen for Phillip Lim since seeing his navy raglan tee with brown leather sleeves. He sure didn’t disappoint this season, it was just breathtaking to me. When I saw it I was just in awe. The clothing had such an ease to it, but was so well made…I just fell in love. Every look is just amazing, not a dull one in sight.
The new 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2012 collection featured looks that many women would love. I love the color palette. All the peaches, navy, black, white, and lavender were just perfect. There were so many looks, one after another that I just love. The black jumpsuit is just perfect, all the perfectly cut trousers, but the standout piece to me would have to be the pink and gray vest. It is lovely. I am also loving his reinterpretation of the varsity jacket. They are just so cool. You can click through the collection below.
Kanye West in Double Denim
Kanye West was on stage alongside Katy Perry (in Atelier Versace) to accept their award at the MTV Video Music Awards for the song E.T. Kanye wore his favorite Levi’s jeans with the ombre denim shirt that looks like it can be from the 3.1 Phillip Lim Men’s 2012 Spring collection, but I am not too sure.
I think the washes of denim work really well together. That shirt is so amazing. I love the way the classic denim shirt gets reinvented each season. It looks fresh, yet it still has the vintage aesthetic that a denim shirt will never lose.

3.1 Phillip Lim Men’s Spring 2012
Men’s Fashion Week was not over. I just needed a breather from blogging about all the lines. There were so many this season that featured great denim pieces than the past ones.
Next to feature the fabric is Phillip Lim. For his punk inspired collection he had tons of ombre, natural colors, and acid wash. I think the fit of the denim shirt above is amazing. It looks so modern and cool. I love every piece of outerwear. The shorts were also great pieces from the collection. I like how he refined the ’90s fits with cleaner lines. Uniqlo already made a 1.4 Billion Yen donation to the Japan Relief efforts. Stores around the world will be setting up donation boxes in it’s US store. The store will also be donating 8 million dollars of clothes to Japan.
Theory stores will be collecting clothing donations for Japan.
From March 28th-April 11th, Rag & Bone will be donating 10% of their sales to Red Cross Relief Efforts for Japan.
Tory Burch and Rue La La have teamed up with a special tee shirt designed to benefit the Red Cross. The shirt is available on Rue La La for $29.00.

Gap has already donated $200,00 to Global Giving. You can make a donation through their website.
Rebecca Minkoff is donating $100 from the sale of any of her red handbags to the Red Cross.
