Jessica Alba is busy promoting her latest film, Machete. She was seen boarding a gondola in Venice, Italy. She was in town promoting Machete for the 67th annual Venice Film Festival.

Jessica wore a denim jacket, floral top and gray chinos for her ride through the canals. Jessica was wearing CHINO’s by William Rast, the Tommy Tomboy skinny slouchy chino in Seagull. I actually have these chinos and adore them, I’ve barely taken them off since I purchased them. I reviewed them on the forum boards here. You can buy them from Nordstrom for $88.00.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz took baby Bronx on an outing to the Target in Studio City, California. I love that we’ve seen so many celebrities shopping at Target lately. I love Target and their designer collaborations. I’m really excited for the upcoming William Rast line in December!

Ashlee was wearing J Brand’s denim 901 legging in Olympia Wash. She wore these jeans out a few days ago, when she and Pete were in New York City. I can’t blame her, I love wearing my J Brand Leggings! You can buy these jeans and other J Brand jeans at Singer22.com and Boutiquetoyou.com.

Denim at the Nylon + Express Denim Issue Party

First check out CC Sheffield’s shoes above. Dare I say I love them?! There was a lot of interesting denim at the Nylon + Express Denim Issue party! As you can see CC Sheffield opted for this really cute acid washed denim dress with those trendy looking shoes.

Other noteworthy and picture worthy denim was: Estella Warren, she wore the basic black jeans, Amber Lancaster wore William Rast, Gillian Zinser wore a denim shirt over her outfit, Paul Iacono wore an acid washed shirt with some sort of man-crops, and Anna Stella wore a very interesting outfit paired with acid washed short-shorts.

Gilt Groupe has a J Brand Lovestory and shorts sale right now! Hurry though as it’s ending today. They have about 3 Lovestory jeans left, everything else is sold out.

Hautelook is having a Stitches Denim sale for both men and women today! They will also be having a Diesel shoes, underwear and swimwear sale on Thursday 12th August.

Rue La La has an amazing denim sale on right now! It’s the editors choice and in that sale are brands like Paige Premium, Diesel, 7 For All Mankind, Dylan George, Genetic Denim and more! Definitely check it out, they have loads of jeans left at great prices! They are also having a Earnest Sewn sale for both men and women on Wednesday 11th August.

Beyond The Rack has 3 separate denim sales going on at the moment! These sales include brands such as Kasil, Joe’s Jeans, William Rast and more! It’s worth taking a look!

The Sample Sale is having a blow out sale for both men and women today which might be worth checking out! They normally have denim at heavily discounted prices! They are also having a Seven 7 sale on Tuesday 10th August. Take a look if you like cheap denim!

Anna Paquin in True Religion

Anna Paquin swings by the salon on Melrose to get some touch ups on her blond locks. Can you believe that this season of True Blood is almost over? I feel like so much has happened already and there are tons of new characters as well, so I can’t wait to see what happens! Although last time I blogged about Anna and her fiance/co-star Stephen Moyer, I said I didn’t know if I preferred them as an on screen or off screen couple, but after this season, definitely off!

Anna was wearing a pair of shorts by True Religion. She’s wearing the Jess Short, which she’s worn in a darker wash. Anna really seems to love wearing shorts! She’s been seen out in all different lengths by all different brands, from Ever to William Rast. I think her style is a bit kooky and I like seeing what outfits she puts together. And I’m loving her Chloe handbag here!
