Carly herself, Miranda Cosgrove was spotted doing some shopping with some friends at The Grove in Los Angeles, California. She wore double denim, all by Current/Elliott. She wore their white moto skinny jeans and The Snap Denim jacket. I think this outfit is a bit weird, but it suits Miranda’s young style very well. I think the colors of both denim pieces are very contrasting.

Do you readers watch iCarly? I think it is one of the funniest shows around. I find the children’s programs to have better humor than the adult ones. Or maybe I’m just around so many kids that they are rubbing off on me. Plus they wear tons of premium denim on the show. Salt and Peppa busted out on the music scene in 1985. Their destroyed denim style is a great representation of the 1980’s. Ciara below shows that this is one fashion flashback that we love to have. So many celebs have come to love this destroyed look and I think this style has been recycled quite a few times in the last 40 years.

Check out the similarity of Madonna’s shorts and Miranda Cosgrove’s jeans too! Madonna may be one of the first pioneers of the messy chic look of the 80’s. From that also stemmed the destroyed jeans look that I don’t think is going away anytime soon.

Miranda Cosgrove wore a pair of acid wash skinny Praticia Fields Jeans with the artwork of Keith Haring to the set of her music video shoot in Santa Monica, California. These jeans are really interesting! They are limited edition and only 1 pair in each size was made. They retail for $280 and they have sizes 1, 7 and 9 left. They definitely suit her! I think they are really cute. I don’t think I would wear them though, they look more like a collectors jean to me or a young girls jean. What do you think of them? Buy these jeans here.

Miranda Cosgrove threw together a quick costume when she paid a visit to the London Dungeons for Halloween. I guess she wasn’t sure if they dressed up in London so she didn’t have a full costume on hand. Looks like she managed a cute cat costume with a pair of J Brand tie dye jeans in Oz wash though! Making the most of a gorgeous afternoon, Miranda Cosgrove was spotted hitting up Buddha’s Belly for lunch wearing some seriously shredded Topshop jeans. These are similar to the Current/Elliott jeans, but not quite… Thanks to Rachel for IDing these. I think Miranda is so cute, she always wears cute tween clothes on “iCarly” too! I love those boots she is wearing!

Miranda Cosgrove was spotted hitting up Kitson boutique on Robertson Boulevard wearing J Brand 12″ Pencil Leg Ripped Jeans. The “iCarly” cutie looked very pleased with her purchases as she headed out the door to find a plethora of paparazzi waiting for her, also grabbing up lunch at the Ivy restaurant. I’ve always thought of this 16 year old as a little girl and J Brand jeans for the older crowd, but J Brand has certainly been making its way into the younger crowd with their new washes and destroyed jeans.
