Gavin Rossdale was spotted with his wife Gwen Stefani and son Zuma out in Los Angeles, California. The weather was so nice over the weekend. Gavin was wearing a pair of AG Adriano Goldschmied Geffen jeans in 8 Year for the family stroll. Gwen was also sporting denim. She wore a pair of slouchy jeans (not by AG) for the day. I think they look great on her. I wonder where Kingston is. It is rare to not see all of them together.

I love the washes of AG jeans. They really know how to make such great aged looking washes. Not only are the washes great but every time I see them on someone, they always fit so well. Gwen Stefani was spotted dropping off her youngest son, Zuma with her parents in Beverly Hills. Tabloids are constantly reporting that she is pregnant again. I’d love to see Gwen and Gavin with a daughter, their sons are already little fashion stars!

Gwen was wearing a pair of Jean Paul Gaultier x Levi’s collaboration denim Harem pants again. She was seen wearing these pants over the 4th of July weekend while she was picking up some Holiday decorations. While they’re not really my style either, I think they work for Gwen! STOP. HAMMERTIME. Ahhh the late 1980s…gotta love ‘em! MC Hammer was so popular back then, he is considered a forefather and innovator of pop rap, and is the first hip hop artist to achieve diamond for an album. So what is Gwen Stefani trying to tell us here? Is this style really back?

Do you like her fashion flashback of these pants? She has been seen in non-denim hammer/carrot/harem type pants a few times and now below she has them in denim too. I think we need to see them on more celebs before we really decide if they are making a full comeback or not…

Gwen Stefani in Jean Paul Gaultier & Levi’s Denim Harem Pants

Gwen Stefani was spotted shopping for 4th of July decorations at Party City in Hollywood, California over the weekend. She was with her sons Kingston and Zuma and also the nanny to help her on her errands. It must be really nice to have a nanny around to help out with the kids when you need it. Gwen then went on to a nearby CVS Pharmacy to get a few things before making her way home with the children.

Gwen was wearing a pair of Jean Paul Gaultier and Levi’s collaboration Denim Harem pants with flip flops and a striped vest. These pants definitely suit Gwen’s style so much, they are perfect for her. I wouldn’t wear these though, they are definitely not my kind of pant but when worn correctly they look great! The Rossdale/Stefani clan was spotted shopping for some party decoration for son’s Kingston’s birthday party. Gavin wore a pair of denim cut offs that I can’t seem to ID. The emblem on the back pocket looks to be Rag & Bone, but it is too obscure for me to be 100%. Can any of you readers ID the shorts?

Not letting the chilly California weather ruin their day, the Rossdale/Stefani clan was seen frolicking through the sand in Malibu. Gavin wore a pair of PRPS jeans, while Gwen only added to the pregnancy rumors with her loose fitting outfit. At first I didn’t think Gwen was pregnant, but come to look at it… she is sporting a bit of a baby bump in the first picture. But back to Gavin’s jeans, I really like these jeans on him. They fit very well and the wash is really great. They have that vintage worn in look that I really like.

Denim Review: J Brand Houlihan Skinny Ankle Zip Cargo Pants in Vintage Olive wash

I never expected to fall completely in love with these J Brand Houlihan Cargo Pants in Vintage Olive! I just got them last week and I have worn them lots already. I had never been a fan of cargo pants since I didn’t really class them as feminine but after seeing these pants on lots of celebs it really changed my mind. I haven’t seen them look bad on anyone yet and so many celebrities are a fan of them! They have really taken the fashion world by storm.

These Houlihan cargo pants are made of Japanese Twill so they are super soft! I had no idea they would be so stretchy and soft against the skin though, I assumed they would be quite rigid and more stiff since they were a cargo pant but I was completely wrong! They are the most comfiest pants I have ever tried and they are extremely stretchy, I love that about them. The fit is also perfect, it’s so feminine and pretty, they are really slim down the legs and even though they only have flaps for the back pockets they are suprisingly flattering on the butt.

I love the way they have long ankle zips just like a skinny jean, it’s nice they still keep that element as it’s unusual on a cargo pant. The leg pocket placement is also perfect, I love the positioning of them, they are just in the right place to keep your legs looking slim. they also have moto style stitching on the knees as you can see and I think that makes them look really good. The colour as well is so pretty, it’s like a dusty khaki green and it matches almost everything. These pants come in 5 other colours as well as this Vintage Olive shade. I really want to buy them in grey and black! I can see myself living in these Houlihan pants for a while. I find they beat my motto of not being feminine because they are super skinny and they look really really good with heels.

So I’m really loving J Brand’s take on the cargo pants and I honestly can’t wait to try more! The cargo pants seem to be a huge trend right now and I really like it! These are just too beautiful to pass up and if you don’t think they will be very flattering or comfy then you are very mistaken, they are gorgeous!

Overall Opinion
I absolutely, 100%, recommend these J Brand Houlihan Cargo Pants! They are the most softest pants I have ever tried and they are so comfy because of how stretchy they are. They are also incredibly flattering and feminine if you pair them with heels or wedges and a pretty top. You definitely wont be disappointed buying these! Buy these cargo pants at Boutique to You.

The Skinny Cargo Pant Trend

I never expected the cargo pants to come back in fashion and actually be popular! I was really suprised at how pretty and sexy the J Brand Houlihan cargo pant (above) is when I first saw it. I didn’t know what a phenomenon it would be though! I just recently got the J Brand Houlihan in Vintage Olive and I am loving it! It’s so comfy and so soft! I will be reviewing them next week! This season, pretty much every denim brand has released their take on the skinny cargo pant. Each brand makes it their own and adds unique little details to set them apart from the rest. I can’t wait to start seeing the other brands on celebs! So far it’s just been the J Brand Houlihan cargo pants and a couple of times the Paige Premium’s Layne cargo pant.

I have picked out a few of the Cargo pants which are available to buy right now, not all of them as there are so many, but I picked a few that I really like. Watch this space though because from what I have seen in the upcoming collections from other brands, we have lots more cargo pants and cargo shorts coming our way! Which ones are your favourites? It’s so hard to pick but I am loving the J Brand Houlihan and the Rich & Skinny Groovy Cargo’s the most, I think… It’s a difficult choice!

The Rich & Skinny Groovy Cargo Leggings in Aloe (below) are so pretty!! I fell in love with these when I first saw them in the Rich & Skinny Fall 2010 Look Book. They are gorgeous! I love the pocket placements on the front of the legs and the little details like the 3 buttons. They are definitely a great take on the cargo pant. I really really want a pair!
