Following in the footsteps of Seven for All Mankind and Joe’s Jeans, now True Religion has come out with their own line of maternity wear denim for a Pea in the Pod! We love that our favorite designers want us to look hot in maternity wear! Will you be buying designer denim when you have a bun in the oven?

Saks has these beautiful Rock & Republic Kasandra Jeans on sale for $158.25! We love the very classic look & pocket colors of this pair! Get ‘em while you still can!

in chip & pepper and new brands.

This is news from earlier this year, but we just found out about it and didn’t know - so we thought maybe our readers hadn’t heard the news yet either! JcPenney has recently teamed with denim designers Chip & Pepper to create a new line called C7P, a brand aimed at juniors and for a price tag far less than Chip & Pepper’s original denim line. Priced at just $40-50 a pair! Has anyone tried them yet? And will this help or hurt the brand’s image overall by teaming with JcPenney? Personally, their line looks a little to Abercrombie to us, and we are not crazy about the pocket designs either, but maybe the teenyboppers will like it.
VS.
Since everyone liked our quiz so much recently on what type of designer denim you are, we thought we’d set up an Ebay Matchup - a fun new way to vote on what YOU like best. In today’s matchup, we have Seven for All Mankind versus Rock & Republic. Check it out and vote!

in raw denim.

We had a suggestion from an HonestForum member that we should do more posts about raw denim! In particular, we like Good Society’s denim. It’s a raw organic denim and is much cheaper than most of our designer jeans, starting around $90! Made from 100% organic cotton, Good Society’s jeans are woven on vintage shuttle looms and then are later sewn by skilled workers in India in accordance to Fair Trade regulations. Thus, these jeans really ARE good for society! They are available at RevolveClothing.com

in deal of the day.

Today’s Deal of the Day isn’t denim - but the reason we picked these is because we can totally see wearing these Kenneth Cole Ankle Boots with our favorite jeans! They are not too high in the heel and won’t make your legs too warm under your jeans because they only go ankle high. So cute! On sale for $71.99 at shoes.com!

in rock & republic jeans.

Have you seen Rock & Republic’s new line of shoes, bags, sunglasses, and ready-to-wear? It’s proof that companies that used to just sell jeans are diversifying. Will they get away with charging prices like higher-end luxury brands such as Vuitton & Gucci?
We think the shoes are a little over the top with logos (only the afore mentioned luxury brands can get away with logos everywhere!) but we do wonder why is it that the shoes, at $285, are cheaper than the sunglasses, at $350? That seems odd.
Sidenote: We refuse to pay that much for sunglasses since we just found an awesome pair of Dior’s at Off 5th for $60! Sunglasses break way too easy to pay so much for them unless they are on sale!
Check out all the new R&R stuff at ELuxury.

We love Seven for all Mankind but sometimes we have to wonder what they are thinking (as in our prior post about this hideous skull skirt). Now they’ve come out with these Flower Patch jeans. Hmmm. They are not quite as hideous as the skull skirt but still, we don’t think these are going to be the new “IT” jean. They look a little too “I’m 10 years old” to us. Would you wear them?
