Singer/actress Jessica Simpson has reportedly gone country in her musical career, saying she’s been a country girl from the beginning. She was spotted performing in Sacramento recently in a corset, plaid shirt and a pair of William Rast jeans.
Its hard for me to think of her as a good little southern belle, she is so Hollywood fashionista, with her tons of Louis Vuitton bags and Louboutins. How I would love to have 1/10th of her wardrobe!

Fashion Week: Diesel Black Gold Spring 2009 Runway Show

The Diesel Black Gold runway show, as well as the William Rast show, seemed to have a theme of dirty, destroyed denim, many with black smears all over them. Is this the latest trend? I am not loving the “dirty” look. A few rips and tears here and there is one thing, but jeans that look like your car spilled oil all over them and then you ran them over is quite another… In the front row were model Petra Nemcova, actress Juliette Lewis, model Daisy Lowe and DJ Mark Ronson.

Fashion Week: DKNY Spring ‘09 Ready to Wear
Published by September 9th, 2008 Uncategorizedin . 1 CommentThere was a fair amount of denim displayed at the Fashion Week Runway show for DKNY. Also there seemed to be a bit of a 70’s vibe going on. Also some of the jeans had a slight sheen, which we’ve been seeing on several runways lately. Check out those boyfriend jeans in the 3rd photo - reminds me of Current/Elliott jeans. William Rast’s show had a similar pair too - looks like all the designers are trying to get in on the boyfriend’s jean success.
