Rag & Bone may be a celeb favorite but designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright have the average Joe in mind. The factory workers in Micaville, North Carolina faced a unemployment after Levi Strauss began outsourcing to Mexico. Rag & Bone came to the rescue when they enlisted the factory produce their denim line, as well as attracting other apparel retailers such as Helmut Lang, and Gap to the factory. By keeping the work local, the designers felt it would not only help the locals but also insure the craftsmanship and quality they hold standard in their line.
As Marcus Wainwright explains, “We feel—on a different scale, obviously—that there’s a certain handcrafted individuality in the clothes that we make. Some of the ladies that sew Rag & Bones clothes are over 60-years-old and have been sewing since they were 18. That shows.”
You can read more about their story and Rag & Bone at Men’s Vogue.
Jennifer Love Hewitt was spotted on the set of The Ghost Whisperer looked fantastic in this outfit. She wore a pair of J Brand skinny jeans and I absolutely love that jacket of hers. The boots just really finish this outfit, I love it! Anyone know where i can find this coat? Jen recently split with her partner Ross McCall (so sad, he had great taste in denim!) but she seems to be doing okay by the looks of her lately.

Just because you’re expecting, doesn’t mean you have to expect to sacrifice your style.
Many designer lables are branching out into the world of maternity wear. Favorite Lables such as : 7 For All Mankind, AG, Citizens of Humanity, Joe’s Jeans, True Religion, Paige Premium Denim, and William Rast, all offer maternity styles. Plus they’re available at stores like Motherhood Maternity, Pea in the Pod, Revolve Clothing, Nordstrom and more!
In fact, Pea in the Pod is currently offering great deals, like this Joe’s Jeans denim skirt for $129, which you’ll want to keep wearing long after baby arrives.
Or how about these Rock & Republic Ritchie maternity jeans?! Um, excuse me, is this model REALLY pregnant?! I don’t THINK so! But the jeans are hot, regardless of the skinny minnie wearing them!
And one of my favorite “classic” jeans are the Paige Premium Denim Laurel Canyons – which they make in maternity! No one ever said you had to dress in “mom” jeans just because you are pregnant! Add these to your registry!
And speaking of classic jeans, check out the Citizens of Humanity Faye Maternity jean!
