Emma Roberts, Beyonce and Katie Holmes are all celebs who have started wearing the studded denim trend. However, these aren’t the studded and bedazzled jeans of the 80s, rather, there are a few studs around the pockets or seams, not all over. Rock and Republic has been featuring studs on their jeans for many seasons(both Men’s and Women’s!) But many other brands are starting to feature studded styles in their new collections. Here are some collections that are featuring denim studs:
Current/Elliott (Katie Holmes and Emma Roberts wore these):
If you’re feeling more daring, this brand has shorts, jackets and pants all with studded seams and elaborate pocket details. They offer both men’s and women’s styles.
True Religion is always a bit daring. They offer many different studded styles, like the Billy Studded straight leg jeans, for that Rock and Roll look.
Whatever your personal style is, there is a brand that has style for you. Check out Blank (a favorite of Ashley Tisdale!), Kettle Black and Frankie B. Or if you’re feeling creative, many craft stores offer metal studs that can easily be attached to your jeans, for a do-it yourself solution.
Sandra Bullock was spotted in L.A wearing a pair of J Brand “Steve” boyfriend jeans in camille. She had just landed at LAX. The star and actress has starred in many films, including ‘The Proposal’ . This outfit really suits her.

Have I told you lately how much I love my daily dose of Lilo? I know I know, I shouldn’t like her, but geez…that hair, those eyes and that body! Oh and her clothing that she wears, Balmain all the way down to these Abercrombie & Fitch Irene Shorts. Here she is rocking out at her 23rd birthday party held at Wet Republic at the MGM Grand Resort Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Dakota Fanning goes retro in a pair of Dittos jeans, on the set of her new movie, The Runaways. She is in costume and was seen earlier wearing a denim jumpsuit, also on set. Dittos was a very popular brand in the 70s so these may be vintage but you can find a similar style by looking for “The Classic” cut.
