Nicole Richie was spotted leaving a friends house in Beverly Hills, California. She looked to be ready for spring here. It is Southern California so the weather is never really winter, mostly just Fall really. It was actually quite warm this day when she was spotted out.
She was wearing the same Paige Premium Jacket that she wore when she was spotted doing her many workouts. She paired the jacket with a watercolor printed dress and her favorite Givenchy sandals. Nicole always looks amazing. She just knows how to put the right stuff together. I even found some of her workout outfits to be quite great as well if the shoes were changed. Heidi Klum makes her way through the airport after landing at LAX. Recently, it is reported that Heidi purchased a new home in Brentwood, CA for $14 million dollars. I know that she was filming a reality show following her kids but I wonder if it ever aired? They seem like such a cute family, they’d be fun to watch!
Heidi’s airport outfit consisted of a pair of embellished Ugg boots, an off the shoulder black tee and a pair of skinny jeans. She’s wearing PRPS’s Heirloom Carrot Fit Repair jeans in medium vintage. These jeans have part of the Bill of Rights written on them! You can buy them at Shopbop for $219.00.
There appears to be a new use for your old jeans, in cars! Ford will be using recycled denim material in their latest version of the Ford Focus. According to Forbes magazine, “Each new Ford Focus will have roughly two pairs of average-sized American jeans in it. The recycled blue jeans will be used as both sound absorption material and carpet backing.”
The reliance on recycled materials has been increasing and Ford is already using recycled materials for the seats and other parts of their cars. Carrie Majeske, the company’s sustainability manager commented that “Ford is continually looking for greener alternatives.”
I think it’s great that an increasing number of denim companies and other companies as well are trying to become more eco-friendly and rely on recycled products. I wonder where else old jeans are going to pop up!
