Rihanna in Helmut Lang
Rihanna was caught leaving her hotel in New York. She wore a pair of Helmut Lang Leather pants with a gray sweater as she made her way to a photoshoot. I think Rihanna looks like Kristen Stewart in this look. Knotted tee, skintight pants, and some sneakers…well Rihanna’s are creepers but it just screams K-Stew. The look isn’t bad, I just detest creepers.
Rihanna’s style has really changed over the past few months. She hasn’t opted for her usual heels. She has recently been choosing flat footwear and sneakers. I do like that she has been pairing everything with Vans though. They are a pair of shoes that I think more “fashion” people should be wearing. Nothing beats a look with a pair of classic sneakers. Jessica Biel in Paige
Jessica Biel headed towards the paps as she made her way into the Windsor Arms Hotel in Toronto, Canada. She went in through the back entrance to do some filming with a small production while in town. It looks like her trick to avoid the paps didn’t work out.
Jess wore a pair of Paige High Rise Bell Canyon jeans in Breckinridge with an old Victorian style ruffled shirt. These are the same jeans that we have caught Katie Holmes wearing a couple of times. Altuzarra Spring 2012
Trends for Fashion Week this season seems to be eyelets, mesh, paneling, tropical, floral prints, and leather/pleather. There were tones of each of those in many of the shows so far. The Spring 2012 Altuzarra wasn’t an exception either.
Looks were kept body-con, tight to the skin, and structured. Shoulders especially, were strong at the Altuzarra show, not padded like the looks of Balmain, just well tailored and angled at 90 degrees. I think the dresses are great. I think the one above is one that needs to be seen on someone like Zoe Saldana or Jennifer Lawrence, as well as the dress on Arizona Muse. Those two would have to be my favorite looks from his show this season. You can see some of the looks from the collection below.
Rag & Bone Spring 2012
Here is a look at the Rag & Bone Spring 2012 Collection. The inspiration of the collection came from music festivals, raves and the seventies. So you know what that means…clothing was minimal and/or breezy. It featured tons of brights in easy slinky fits. Nothing was too fussy, other than the the jackets being structured.
I really like all the paneling that was incorporated into the collection. The colors of the color blocking all complimented each other very well, especially on the wide-leg trousers. I also like that they incorporated Fall/Winter fabrics for Spring, like tweeds and leather. Leather has definitely become a staple for each season. Victoria Beckham in Victoria Beckham Denim
Victoria Beckham was caught out and about in New York City with daughter Harper. She wore pair of repaired jeans from her Victoria Beckham Denim line with some super high Louboutin boots. I think this look is amazing! Everything fits her so well. I like that the jeans are skintight and that they have ankle-zippers at the inseam. With that little detail, I have been thinking about trying a pair of Victoria’s jeans.

Kirstie Alley in a Denim Trench Coat
Former Dancing With the Stars competitor, Kirstie Alley, was seen heading to a salon in New York two days ago. She didn’t seem too impressed to see the paparazzi though.
Kirstie wore something that I haven’t really seen much of before, a denim trench coat. I’m unsure if I like it or not, I love the style of trench coats with the belts and buttons but I think in denim, it’s just a bit too much fabric. Maybe it would look better worn differently though.
