Joe Jonas was spotted out getting some gas in Los Angeles, California. Ohh…how I lust over his Mercedes G-Wagon. Sorry back to the denim. Joe was wearing a pair of distressed Closed jeans as he went on with his day. It seems like many of the Disney stars are shying away from Nudie lately. Joe’s brother Nick, loves his All Saints and Zac Efron has changed it up to a pair of khaki Balmain and Levi’s. I wonder if they will return back to brand that made them regulars here on DenimBlog.
I love these jeans. Actually Closed jeans in general. They do such great detail on their jeans, like these on Joe. I find the distressing and marbling to look amazing. They look like a great pair of jeans that have been on a few hiking trips through the forest. You can buy Closed jeans from their website by clicking here.

The ever beautiful and stylish Rihanna has stepped up and started helping the American Cancer Society. The organization’s new video, which Rihanna stars in, has a special birthday tune and Rihanna is aiming to increase the amount of cancer survivors who celebrate their birthdays each year.
During the video (which you can see below) Rihanna wore a Levi’s denim hoodie in denim/linen heather from their Spring 2011 collection. It looks like she paired the hoodie with one of her trademark pieces of the moment, a tutu. I love this hoodie! I think it’s unique and on trend.
Cynthia Wang got to attend the Diesel Pre-Spring 2011, Spring/Summer 2011 blogger preview event in NYC for us at DenimBlog. The event was on November 17th at Diesel’s showroom.
The new styles focus on “the powder of diesel” which is an array of pastel washes on white denim, lots of classic rips and tears that is usually the Diesel trademark in jeans, plenty of stretch jeans instead of 100% cotton, denim jumpers and shorts and lots of paint splatter/oil stained/messy jeans which is another classic from Diesel.
One of the focal jeans that caught the eye of Cynthia and I was a pair of white jeans (which looks to be a Clush or Clushy cut from the photos) with the splatters and rips. There are many amazing washes and garments in this Spring 2011 collection and we are happy to share it with you! Diesel is one of the leading denim brands on the market and I don’t know a single person who doesn’t like the brand! Enjoy the photos!
