This weeks review is on a pair of James Jeans Twiggy denim leggings in W.Troy wash. I got these quite a while ago but they were a bit too tight at the time so I didn’t review them. They fit me now though and I am really pleased they do because they are beautiful! They are size 27 and run pretty true to size, maybe a little on the small side.
We have seen so many celebs wearing James Jeans Twiggy denim leggings and now I understand why there is so much love for them. They are one of the most stretchiest pairs of jeggings but they are also a pair that keep you all in place and still look flattering. They are sturdy like a normal pair of jeans but a lot more comfortable than regular denim. The fit is one of the skinniest I have tried in a while, they fit like second skin with a medium rise which is perfect.
This is my first time actually trying a pair of James Jeans denim, I had the cargos before, which I loved, but these jeans were pleasantly surprising. I never know what to expect when trying a new brand of jeans, sometimes they can be wonderful and sometimes they can be a complete disaster. The back pockets are also in a good place to flatter the butt which is always important and I am growing quite fond of the signature pocket design.
The W.Troy wash wasn’t the original wash I wanted to try as it had polyester in the fabric content but I was actually pleased when I tried these on that you can’t feel the polyester. Sometimes it’s hit or miss when it comes to poly/cotton blend jeans, sometimes they can itch my legs like crazy and sometimes you can’t feel it at all. W.Troy is a really dark blue denim that doesn’t have much depth to it, it’s just plain but most dark washes are like that. It’s a great wash for dressing up! Here is part 2 of the video series following the winner of the Paige Premium model contest. During this video you get to see Julia have her hair and make up done, pose for the photos on set and select some items from the Paige store on Robertson Blvd. I think Julia looks amazing! Cash Warren seems to be loving the gray denim lately. He was spotted wearing a pair of Nudies not to long ago and now he has been spotted in another pair of jeans in the color. He chose to wear a pair of gray Ksubi jeans for a family trip to Venice, California.
I recently saw Jessica’s movie The Killer Inside Me. That movie is gruesome. Casey Affleck’s character really had no heart when he kills his victim (then again what killer does). Especially during the scene when his character was attacking Jessica’s character, it was horrendous to watch. It was shot in Jessica’s point of view so it sort of feels like you were the one being attacked. I think it is a great film if you are looking for an extremely dark thriller.
Kate Bosworth must love acid washed jeans. She was spotted wearing the style that many would wish to go away around Los Angeles, California. First she was spotted in her Topshop pair that she wore many times around town a couple of years back. Then a couple days after she opted for a cropped dark blue pair or AG Adriano Goldschmied jeans with ankle zips in Pershing. I think it is all about knowing what works together and Kate rocked both styles well. I love that she always looks like she just stepped off the Isabel Marant runway (not literally). She always has that Marant boho feel to her.
Did you know that Kate was a jewelry designer? I never knew that until she was on Chelsea Lately. She along with friend Cher Coulter design very unique pieces from bangles to earrings. You can checkout their website JewelMint by clicking here.
