Levi’s have come out with another great collaboration. This time it is between their Workwear collection and Pendleton Woolen Mills. They collaborated on some trucker jackets that have been inspired by what they know best, a pair of vintage Levi’s. Everything about this jacket is inspired by vintage Levi’s, from the wash to the color of the exclusive Native American inspired jacquard print lining that was woven by Pendelton themselves. You can expect to see styles for both the men and women coming in November. But for a little teaser you can check out one of the styles above.
Heidi Klum and husband Seal did some retail therapy, shopping up and down Melrose. The couple looked to be without their 4 children but soon their kids will be hitting TV. She recently announced her next business venture, staring in a reality show called “Seriously funny kids” about the couple’s 4 children. The show will air on Lifetime.
Heidi’s outfit consisted of a long gray sweater, shredded jeans and hi-top sneakers. Heidi’s jeans are J Brand’s Thrasher jean. These jeans were huge last year and I know that some places still have them, only discounted! You can buy them from Revolveclothing.com for $142.
Ashlee Simpson was spotted out with her family at Whole Foods in Encino, California. Ashlee was wearing a new pair of jeans. She chose to wear the 7 For All Mankind Gwenevere in Rocky Ferry. I do like the fit of these jeans on her, but I am not too keen on the wash. Actually I’m not too keen on this whole look. I think pairing it with her acid washed pink shoes is a bit too much. I think basic flats would have worked better here.
Ashlee is hard at work on her new album. She says it will sound different than her other albums and have a more folk vibe to it. Are you readers interested in hearing Ashlee’s new sound? Click here to purchase these jeans at 7ForAllMankind for $189.
Lacoste and Earnest Sewn partnered up and next March will be selling a collaborated brand in each stores. The brands created a co-branded line of denim which will be featured in both Earnest Sewn and Lacoste stores. The collection will also feature Lacoste polos sold in Earnest Sewn stores.
For Lacoste, CEO Steve Birkhold felt that the partnership was natural, “It’s a logical extension of our brands. We know that our customers wear jeans with their Lacoste polos and T-shirts.”
The denim collection will be based on current Earnest Sewn styles, with some stylistic alterations. The Lacoste alligator will appear near the pocket and an “Earnest Sewn Co. especially designed for Lacoste” label will be sewn inside. The styles for the co-brand will be based on Earnest Sewn’s current most popular washes. The men’s collection will feature two different styles, in four washes. The women’s collection will feature three fits, and seven washes. Both will also feature shorts.
The price point for the jeans, is slightly higher at $165-$195 and will be sold in both Earnest Sewn and Lacoste stores in the US.
