There was a lot of great denim at the MTV Video Music Awards, but most of it was worn by men. Most of the ladies opted for dresses and other non-denim attire.
Tito Ortiz looks like he was wearing PRPS while Gucci Mane showed up in Robin’s jeans that have been worn before by Adam Lambert. The one female who opted for jeans was Kenedy wearing a pair of black Work Custom jeans. Dane Cook and Usher both wore in black jeans as well as Justin Timberlake in black William Rast jeans. Justin Bieber wore what seems to be his favorite brand, G Star. And the famous Jersey Shore cast wore various denim as well.

I love this outfit on Jessica Alba!! She was at the 67th Venice International Film Festival in Venice, Italy. I’ve never been a fan of denim trousers before but after seeing these on Jess I have changed my mind! They look fantastic on her and the way she paired them with those heels, leather jacket and grey tee is hot!
I can’t figure out the brand of these but I know Jess is a huge fan of denim trousers, she has worn a pair by Genetic Denim and MiH before. Can any of you ID these ones? I think I want them! I know I have seen these before, I just can’t figure them out! They do remind me of a pair of Diesel’s from a while back.

Clothes seem to have more of an ease for this season so far. Nothing is too structured or too constricted to the body. It is just a more relaxed kind of vibe with the shows and there is a ton of neutrals.
The Edun show was just that for the Spring 2011 collection. Every article of clothing had such an ease to them. From the denim shirts to the flowy maxi dress and tons of crisp white that is not shown here. Each piece can be mixed and matched and will still give the look of being put together. The attention to detail is great too. The sun-fading on the denim shirt is a nice touch to the usual. The denim dresses are also well constructed. Especially the asymmetrical one sleeve dress. I think the detail of the darting and hip is a nice touch. My overall thought on the collection was that it was great, very easy to wear from day-to-day.
