Hiding her face under a hat this time from the paps, Cheryl Cole was seen heading into The X Factor studios for the last time for the final show yesterday in London, England. Speaking of the final, I never expected One Direction to go out so early! They have been favourites to win but I am glad that Matt won, he deserves it! I know One Direction will make it big anyway as will Rebecca.
Cheryl was wearing a pair of Helmut Lang mid rise jeans style denim leggings and I am loving the way she paired them with this outfit! It has a very vintage feel to it but it’s still really modern with the shapes and colours being so bright. The shoes are gorgeous and the coat and hat really finish it off. I think I would have preferred no scarf as the outfit would look more crisp then. Hopefully we still see candids of Cheryl because I have enjoyed blogging about her. Buy these leggings at Net-A-Porter for £165.
Would we expect Justin Timberlake to be wearing anything other than William Rast? For the premier of his new film, Yogi Bear 3-D, Justin opted for a denim jacket from the line. He wore it with a plaid shirt and a pair of gray pants and a signature fedora.
I’ve only recently started to get into William Rast. I have a couple of pairs of the skinny chinos (that Jessica Alba wore here) and I absolutely love them! Has anyone shopped the line at Target? What are your favorite pieces? I love the leather shorts!
Clemence Posey was spotted attending the ‘Chanel Metiers d’Art’ Fashion Show in Paris, France. She was decked out in French fashion pairing a banded denim skirt with a Chanel Jacket, tights and a white button up. This is the absolute opposite of what Coco Chanel, herself, prefers on a woman.
I read recently that the fashion legend hates seeing women in denim and mini-skirts, Clemence chose to combine both here. I wonder what Coco would have thought if she were to see Karl Lagerfeld’s all denim Spring 2008 Collection. I think this is a very modern way to wear Chanel. I tend to think Chanel can look old and stuffy at times, but it looks young and fresh the way it is styled here.
Gwyneth Paltrow graces the cover of the new January 2011 issue of InStyle magazine in Chanel and Siwy. That wasn’t the only french label that she wore in the magazine. For the music inspired photo spread Gwyneth wore Balmain. She was styled in a pair of the bleached shorts with the stapled and safety-pinned denim vest from the new Spring 2011 collection. I think the shorts are definitely her style but not the vest. She does look great though.
I’m really interested in seeing Gwyneth’s new movie Country Strong. I’ve never been into country music, but there are some great ones here and there. But the story line of this movie has really caught my attention, and the soundtrack isn’t that bad either. “Coming Home” probably has to be my favorite song from the soundtrack.
