Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus wore J Brand Lovestory Jeans in Ink Wash while actress Salma Hayek wore the Lovestory in Miner Wash at the Stand Up to Cancer benefit in Hollywood, California last night. Great to see celebs doing something for a wonderful cause.
Speaking of a great cause, I am going to be participating as a Team Leader & Walker in my local Light the Night Walk with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in November. I know we don’t usually get very personal here on the blog about our writers, but I am a survivor of Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and I also have family and friends who’ve battled cancer. I was fortunate enough to beat the disease, but not everyone is and new treatments and cures are still desperately needed. Did you know:

Taylor Swift is the new face of L.E.I. brand jeans
Country music superstar Taylor Swift has been announced as the new face of L.E.I. brand jeans. The 18-year-old singer-songwriter will be the face of the L.e.i. Back-to-School 2008 print, mobile and online advertising campaign, to be called “This is L.E.I. Country.” The campaign will feature Ms. Swift surrounded by an assortment of L.E.I. denim jeans and tops. L.E.I. (life. energy. intelligence.), the brand for juniors, junior plus and girls, is now available exclusively at Wal-Mart stores nationwide for Back-to-School, and in Canada in the fourth quarter of 2008.
I’ve never been a huge fan of L.E.I. when I’ve seen it in stores, but it looks cute on Taylor! I like the shorts!
Celebs in Denim: Kristen Bell in Diesel Jeans
Justin Long apparently isn’t very broken up about his split with Drew Barrymore, as he was seen “all over” Kirsten Dunst at a music festival last weekend, and then was spotted at Lulu’s restaurant with Kristen Bell on Friday. Kristen is wearing a pair of the new wideleg Diesel Ybo jeans. Love the jeans, but her taste in men could improve, Justin seems to be making the rounds with all these women, and besides, she’s already got hottie boyfriend Dax Shepard! What will he think? Hopefully the two have an upcoming role together or something and its not what we think…
