This weeks review is on a pair of Levi’s Made & Crafted white skinny jeans. As you know white is always a huge colour for Spring and Summer so I was really excited to review these for Levi’s.
The one thing that I love the most about these jeans is they are not see through. So often I will try a pair of white jeans and I can’t wear them because they are just too see through and I don’t feel confident going out like that. It’s wonderful that these are a much thicker denim so it hides everything. You can barely see the pocket bags at the front and it’s pretty safe to wear any colour underwear you wish with these jeans.
As far as the fit goes, these are very skinny, they feel much skinnier than the classic skinny Levi’s jeans. The Made & Crafted collection has a different feel to the denim and they feel a better quality. They are much more durable and like I said, they are super skinny which is nice since I love my jeans to fit like second skin. Since I am so used to wearing jeggings though, they are a bit more restricting when you walk and sit but that’s because of the thicker denim.
There isn’t much to say about the wash since it’s white but it is a pure bright white, it’s not an off white or more of a cream tone, it’s one of the brighter whites that is the perfect shade. I can see these reflecting the sunlight and heat perfectly.
The back pockets are not the most flattering on myself though, I find them to not be positioned as perfect as they could be for my body type but those of you who read my reviews will know how picky I am with back pocket positioning. It’s the first thing I look for in a jean. I’m not saying they are the worst at all, they fit quite well, just not as well as other brands I have tried, but we all have different body shapes so what works for me might not work for someone else. They do run pretty true to size as well.
Naked & Famous have brought out a brand new jean, Red Weft Selvedge. This is a 14oz dark indigo selvedge jean, with red weft interior which are woven on vintage shuttle looms in Kojima, Japan. These jeans are great for cuffing and rolling to show off the crimson red inside. But as these jeans fade, the red will bleed through. I think that’s going to look really good! Most typical dark indigo denim will fade from blue to white – these will fade from blue to red! How many of you are going to pick up a pair? These jeans are currently sold for $150 at Atrium.
Ellen Pomepo and her husband, Chris Ivery, caught a Lakers game at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. The much anticipated musical episode of Grey’s Anatomy premiered at the end of March. It sounded like quite an episode, both with music and with the ensemble cast. What did you think, did anyone catch it?
For the game, Ellen traded her scrubs for a pair of Black Orchid Black Jewel skinny jeans in Smoke wash. She paired them with a striped shirt and a pair of tall boots. While I’m not crazy about the overall outfit, I absolutely love the wash on these jeans! They have the perfect amount of discoloring. You can buy Black Orchid jeans at Singer22.com.

Here are some better shots of Dakota Fanning wearing a pair of Textile Elizabeth and James Morrison jeans. After attending the Textile Elizabeth and James party at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Dakota went out to dinner at Il Sole in Los Angeles, California. She paired her jeans with the Alice top also by Textile. It’s nice to see Dakota rocking some flares. We usually see her in super skinny styles. She has long legs that can wear many styles.
I recently got a pair of the Debbie jeans by Textile. They are amazing, and I mean amazing. I can wear them all day, everyday. They feel just like sweatpants. I love wearing them “Tom Sawyer” style, rolled up at the bottom. I definitely recommend them if you haven’t tried yet. You can click here to purchase these jeans at Net-A-Porter $225.
