Trend Alert: Denim Overalls

Are overalls the new spring/summer trend? These are a far cry from the Gap overall days! They seemed like a continuation from the romper trend, more nipped and couture-like. Collections like Ralph Lauren and Jean Paul Gaultier feature them. Overalls perpetually remind me of what I wore as a child or a farmer, a far cry from trendy and chic. Is there any way to wear them without looking frumpy? Overalls… yeah or nay?

    Love em. Just got a really cute pair of overalls from Oakley. They have exposed zippers too! Loved the Ralph Lauren collection with overalls.
