The Denim Dress

I first noticed this trend on the runways for Spring/Summer of 2007 season. Dolce and Gabbana executed the look beautifully with their usual full fierceness! The trend was seen on a celebrity here and there, but seemed to fade away with time. Now it’s back just in time for the Spring/Summer 2008 season and even some premium denim designers, such as 7 for All Mankind and Miss Sixty, are jumping on board. Considering the lack of jumpers, jumping onto this trend bandwagon I, for one, am shocked to see that there are designers still pushing for this trend.

My only question is, would anybody ever actually follow this trend?

I had a reader on my blog post about this, I have a link to the article… and they said they like them especially after they saw some at H&M last season!

H&M has cute stuff… but it’s a little too Annie Oakley for my tastes!

I like the denim dress but for most of these styles you’d need to be about a size 0 or 2 to pull it off. Not for me!
