Levi’s Water<Less collection

A few months ago, Levi’s announced that they were developing a line that used less water. The brand recently released their “Made in the U.S.A.” collection which will save over 15 Million gallons of water. The fabric is selvage, and made on vintage shuttle looms in White Oak Cone Mills in North Carolina. The care labels encourage customers to “care for our planet” by encouraging them to wash their jeans in cold water, line dry them and donate old pairs. Although the collection is special edition and only limited quantities are produced, Levi’s is adopting water saving and eco-friendly techniques into their regular production, which is certainly a step in the right direction. You can preview the line below and shop at Levis.com.
