Denim Review: J Brand Corporal Chino

Here is my first take on a review. I recently purchased the J Brand Corporal Pants in Black. I have to say that most men’s styles don’t really impress me, yet alone fit me. So when I found these I was highly impressed. I have fallen for the trouser look and am happy that I got these.

They are a slim trouser style that come in a variety of colors, but I chose the black wash (above). I got my usual size in the men’s J Brand jeans (I had a pair of the Kanes). I have to say that these do run about a size larger compared to the Kanes. So If you do plan on getting, them do go down a size. I actually don’t mind the bagginess though. They are still slim in a way so they don’t look sloppy.

The fabric that is used is just superb. It comes in the softest twill that I have ever felt. I lived in them for a week after I got them. They were just that comfortable. I think the owners of these pants know exactly what I am talking about.

The wash was another thing that I was surprised that I would like. It is like a worn in charcoal/washed out black. It looks so natural and that it has a story behind it, even though they are brand new. It also fits right into my zero to no color closet. They are also very versatile. They can be casually worn with sneakers or for a quick errand run with sandals.

Overall, I would have to say that I am happy to have gotten these. Never would I have thought that I would ever buy a style from the men’s section again and sure enough I did. I highly recommend these to anyone who hasn’t tried them. You can click here to purchase these in a variety of washes ta JBrandJeans.
