Denim and Fashion at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week was hosted in Berlin. Denim made a big statement in No Ifs fashion show, from overalls to jeans and shirts; the styles were plain and not distressed, they are going for a more cleaner look with denim for next season.

The other trends I noticed in DIMITRI, Sam Frenzel, Penkov and Lena Hoscheck’s fashion shows were trench coats, leather pants and plaid. Trench coats are a staple piece for the autumn/winter wardrobe, I found it very interesting that they are pairing the long trench coats with boots or heels, it does look pretty hot but depending on where you live I don’t think this trend will work too well, bare legs in winter is something I am not a fan of.

Plaid was a big part of Lena Hoschecks runway show, she went for the older classic look of fitted shirts and trousers with plaid being a huge part of the print. I am a fan of checked shirts but I don’t like too much of it. It was a huge staple in Roberto Cavalli’s fashion show as well, plaid pants as well as the jackets. He also used animal print.

Bold and bright colours on long and floaty dresses were also standing out in No Ifs collection, like always, these pieces you can not go wrong with!

Another huge trend that I think might take off was dresses over leather skinny leggings/pants. I really really like this look, it combines the rock chick feel with a girly and bold vibe very well. I hope we see this style more often. I included loads of photos for you to see in the gallery below. Also included are celebs who attended wearing denim.
