Alexa Chung teams up with Madewell

The former MTV VJ, Alexa Chung has just announced that she will be collaborating with Madewell. She will be releasing a line with the brand, a sister label of J Crew. The line will reflect Chung’s style (since she’s a regular at their Soho store), and include styles like high waisted skinny jeans, adding to the brand’s already popular denim collection. Chung stated that the focus of the line would be ” things you wouldn’t mind getting dirty in and things that I actually wear.” The line will debut this spring through madewell1937.com, which will be the first online opportunity to purchase from Madewell.

“I’m very excited for my first collaboration and thrilled that it’s with Madewell,” says British-bred Chung. “This partnership came together organically and is a great fit as the brand is so classic and really encompasses my style. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with the team and I can’t wait for my friends to wear it!”
